The villa Aeolus is simply perfect! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 It is sparkling clean and veeeery spacious and super comfy with 100% privacy. The view is wonderful and the pool is very nice and warm. If you want to escape the mass tourism and the heat, you will love this place! up here, the air is fresh and windy, so you can really breathe! In just 20 minutes by car you arrive at Sougia beach, a charmy little beach town with cristal clear water. The best: The hosts, Olga & Sifis are amazing 😍 they really care about their guests and are very good people! We really enjoyed the excellent food they offered. Thanks a lot! 10 points on booking.com is not enough for this paradise in the cretan mountains we give 6 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is the perfect place if you are looking for a tranquil and quiet place in the midst of nature. The small village Temenia is nearby and one can look at it from the terrace of the house. The Villa provides everything you need and it is absolute value for money.

Mike and Stefania are excellent hosts. They drove down (up?) from Chania to meet us on arrival with some fresh pastries and raki. The house is comfortable, well equipped and beautifully isolated. It is off the main roads so you just have to mind the flocks of dozing sheep lying in the road when returning from dinner at night. Then sit back and gaze at the stars...!

Superb location if you want to do Samaria gorge, not so good for the beach. There is no store, it is better to buy supplies along the way. Several taverns close by with good food and reasonable prices. The house is very nice and has everything we needed.

The villa is situated in a very beautiful spot on the mountains. Almost no neighbours so that there was total privacy and peace and quiet. We were welcomed personally in a very friendly manner. The host was available for any possible questions during the whole visit. Everything was just as it was described and we found the villa even more beautiful and tasteful than what we had expected from the pictures. Well equipped & everything works. Very clean. You have to be prepared for a some driving on the mountain roads to get to places but we knew it from the description so that it was not a problem. I would recommend a small car for the sharp turns. We can heartily recommend the villa even for bigger groups, there is ample space.

The hosts are both welcoming and considerate of all your needs. We arrived late and Katerina provided supplies for supper and breakfast, as well as fruit bowl and extra treats such as her home made Walnut Liquer. The villa itself is wonderful - one of the best views I have seen! It is very isolated, just you, some passing goats and the stars at night, there are no neighbours, and no one to disturb you - yet we felt very safe and secure at the property. The pool is delightful on a hot afternoon, and the seating arranged around the villa ensures plenty of shade and sun, whichever your preference. Beds are comfy and plenty of space in the villa - although there was just the two of us. It is away from main towns and amenities (for us that was the appeal), but there is an outstanding restaurant in Temenia and a great little local traditional store about 10 min drive away. If you want a break away from it all and truly relax in the most wonderful of settings, the BMVV is perfect! We will be back!
