This is a wonderful house in a spectacular location. Is it perfect? Not quite. Was it the best holiday property we have ever been to? YES. We didn't want to leave and would love to go back every year. The location is fabulous, with the spacious terrace overlooking the beach and sea, and only 12 steps down to a swim in the beautiful Ionic sea. The house is spacious, and although not super modern, the rooms are very charming, with the quirky tiles and gorgeous door handles. The windows have fly screens and the air conditioning works, should you need it. In the kitchen there are plenty of plates, bowls, glasses and cutlery, and it could easily accommodate 8 people (we were a family of 4). The beaches and bays nearby are simply beautiful - swimming in the clear blue waters, taking a paddle boat to explore the caves - Paleokastritsa is just a magical place for a holiday. Hot tip: Walk to the aquarium (about 200 m away) to view the sublime sunset each night.

Great place! Nice view. In a walking distance (a bit longer walk) from the city. Free parking. Well equipped kitchen and we had some welcome drinks ands snacks + Nikos invited us to his taverna for another welcome drinks.. :) Quite much of nature to see around, I even found a good fishing place near. Also saw a lizard and a friendly big toad in the garden, kids were happy about that. In our last day Nikos allowed us to leave our luggage in his taverna while we walk around the city for few more hours.

I would give 100 stars if I could. I recommend anyone who wants to visit Paleokastritsa to stay at Jane’s place. Our stay here allowed us to have a unique experience at this little spot of paradise. The accommodation was in every aspect amazing. First of all it is 10-15 minutes walk to anything you would need. There are a few beaches (including the main beach) in this distance, some restaurants, cafes and bars. A mini market is 5 minutes away. The bus stop is a 3 minutes walk away and can take you to Korfu town in 30 minutes. The accommodation itself is clean, very well equipped - including soap, cleaning supplies, wash machine tabs and cooking equipment - and cozy. The bed is huge and comfortable. The bathroom is clean and modern with a pretty big shower. The highlight of the accommodation would be the terrace. It has a mind blowing view which is even better the in the pictures. It is shared with Jane, but she made sure to give us any privacy we wanted - though we absolutely loved chatting with her! Jane herself is the most amazing hostess! She is super kind and made sure we had everything we needed at any time! You can always reach her over the phone if you need anything. She is super fun to chat with and is very caring. She also recommended a few events we could visit which made our stay even more fun! Thank you Jane for giving us this unforgettable experience at your place!

Olga, the owner, is amaizingly nice, very helpful. All of these contribued to our perfect holiday, that's why we absolutely recommend this location.

He was extremely helpful, writing down places to eat, beaches to go to, special things to see and even directions to a lovely hike to another village. He brought us fresh milk for our coffee and stocked the room with water and snacks. Bathroom had many beautiful toiletries including shaver and slippers! The room had a beautiful view of the town and ocean below, which could be viewed from the private balcony. Very nice neighborhood to walk around as well.

The value-for-money and cleanness were outstanding and the staff was extremely friendly. Despite not being luxurious, everything in the complex is very well taken care of and (for me) that's much better than false luxury. The swimming pool is well exposed to sunlight the whole day, making it perfect for an evening swimming. If you fancy a walk, the "centre" of Palaiokastritsa is just 3 easy kms away.
