Zika’s is a lovely little house in a very quiet rural area close to monemvasia and beaches, the air con kept the place cool, the facilities and equipment in the house are great. The terrace is lovely in the evenings, to be honest there was nothing I could fault the place on and it’s very well priced, there’s a pharmacy, a bakery/store and a really nice bar/restaurant 2 minutes walk away, the owners left us milk bread and jams and marmalade coffee and tea on arrival and were very friendly and helpful

everything was perfect: the beautiful house is tastefully decorated, confortable, very well equipped, the view from the terrace is stunning, the location is great: a few meters from the entrance gate inside the kastro but in a quiet area and we felt really welcomed by Rena (who speaks at least Greek, English and French). She left us a welcome pack of handmade marmalades, fresh fruits, juices, softs, wine and bread for our arrival, helped us with the luggage, gave us us great advise for our stay, always kept in touch to make sure we didn’t need anything and she is one of the rare people who actually lived in the kastro, so she knows a lot about everything in the area. If you can afford it, go ahead without hesitation. Monemvassia is gorgeous and so is the area around.
