We had a very enjoyable time at Villa Maris! Communication with our wonderful host Christina was exceptional - advice on local restaurants and places to visit always forthcoming and superb. The villa is well furnished and has a nice little swimming pool. It's a great base to explore beaches or the mountains. What made our stay extra special were the gifts on arrival, wine and raki made by Christina's father, and other food gifts throughout our stay; thoroughly enchanting!

Beautiful country villa with a warm and generous host. We were greeted with fresh milk and produce from the yard. The kids loved the chickens and rabbits (and fresh eggs). The balconies have magnificent panoramic views to the north. The location gives way access to ancient ruins, a town that specializes in pottery, a honey museum, and a working olive oil factory. The kitchen was the best equipped we had in Crete.

From the moment we arrived it was wonderful, the property is breath taking. The location is both private and well located for local amenities ( we had hire cars ) The owner was on site on our time of arrival and was there for anything we needed. The property is well equipped with anything you might need and it is exceptionally clean. The Gardens are beautiful and the out door cooking area is a must , we took a large group and spent time BBQ or using the Pizza oven. The owner was so lovely and came with fresh eggs and veg from the garden around the property and was so kind and generous , it really made our stay special. The pool is warm and private and the lights in the evening are beautiful. If you enjoy nature there is an abundance of birds/ birds of prey and lizards in the gardens , chickens under the olive / fruit trees ( we made our own lemon curd with fresh lemons from the garden and eggs from the chickens which the owner left for us, along with some of her amazing cooking which was a delight to eat. Its possibly the most relaxing place in the world. Thank you so much for this special experience and I hope many guests come to appreciate the amazing hospitality of this very special family.
