The property exceeded our expectations and provided an excellent value for the money. The villa is both roomy and functional. The children said that it was our best holiday accommodation so far, and we have had quite several in the course of last 5-6 years, so they have a lot to choose from. The host Alex was very friendly and helpful, for instance arranging a welcome snack for us because we arrived quite late and couldn't visit the local shop anymore. He was available at any time to answer our requests (not that we had any, because the kitchen was fully equipped and every appliance was working). Also, we didn't expect the pool to be working off-season, but it did and provided a nice opportunity for a quick dip. Unfortunately we don't have pictures of the villa apart from one with the general view and the other with loaded table on the patio, but I think these somehow sum it up how good we felt ourselves, so I added these to the review anyways. All together the property is highly recommended, especially to families with several children.

Villa at the highest level, nothing was missing. We had a great time and Marianna and her family are really great, will definitely come back again. Their hospitality goes beyond that. They shared fresh eggs and produce from the garden, the pool was cleaned daily. We found all kinds of food and beach recommendations at the villa. I recommend it to everyone who is wondering, it's really worth it!

Villa Memoria is located in a little village with very friendly people. Our hosts were always available and made sure we had a very nice stay. When we arrived, the owners greeted us and showed us the house. In the kitchen we found fresh fruit, water and groceries for our first breakfast. The house is perfect, the kitchen is complete, the bathrooms luxurious and everything is beautifully decorated. The garden is spacious and equipped with a variety of garden furniture. The pool is big and is cleaned every day. There's a seperate poolhouse with toilet and fitness equipement. A washingmachine is also available. An outdoor shower and an outdoor kitchen with dining area makes it a total experience. Gerani is close to Rethymnon which is a nice city to visit. We loved our stay and thank the Nikolakakis family for a warm welcome.

It is perfect! We had an amazing time here! villa is very clean and has everything one can need, including all sorts of kitchen appliances. Owners are super nice and welcomed us with eggs and fruits from their own little farm :)) what is more, the owner cleans the pool each morning so it is always clean! The are also very helpful and live pretty close to the villa so if there is any problem they are able to be there quickly and help you out. The villa has also great location, close to Chania, Rethymno, Turtle River and some great beaches. The village Gerani is cozy and charming, there are some really good restaurants (also delivery options available) and well stocked grocery shop. We really loved our stay here and will come back for sure! Strongly recommend for everyone who is looking for an amazing vacation :))

The Owners made a lovely cake and ouzo to drink and welcomed us shortly after we arrived with a very warm and informative welcome :) The villa was in a lovely quiet village, which was in walking distance with a few great places to eat and have a drink! We especially enjoyed having a drink at Maxi's which is a pottery place/restaurant. The outdoor area out back has the perfect greek feel.

Loved that it had a bedroom and full bathroom on the main floor as well as two large bedrooms and full bathroom on the 2nd level. Would definitely stay there again. You could tell it was well cared for. It was conveniently situated on the islands north side between Heraklion, and Chania. About a 20 minutes drive from beautiful Rethymno. Definitely need a vehicle.

The little villa has everything you need for a nice relaxing vacation and a lot of privacy. We would recommend to hire a car to reach the villa but take care to select a very small car because the villa is located in a tiny village where it was sometimes already hard to drive with the small car that we booked. So a bigger car will definitely not have a chance to get all the way up.

The villa itself is clean and nicely decorated, beds and linens were comfortable - you can find basically everything you need here. The wifi works properly. Air condition in every room was a huge plus.

The location is in a small village, but easy access to a couple of shops and some tavernas, and there is a bus service into Rythmeno. This truly is a wonderful villa, I think the best I have ever stayed in. The hosts were also brilliant and really helpful. We didnt want to leave!!
