Our hosts were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. They were available to answer questions and provide suggestions both before and during our holiday. Nothing was too much trouble. The property was beautifully clean, well furnished and had everything that was needed for our stay. The location was very quiet, which was what we wanted, with direct access to the beach. Easy access to local shops and restaurants if you are willing to walk 10 - 15 minutes. Taxis are readily available and reasonably priced if you don't have a rental car. Highly recommend the property and the location.

The Villa is beautiful and very clean. Mike and family had generously stocked the kitchen with food for our arrival and they also prepared a beautiful home cooked meal for us during our stay. The location is perfect by the sea and walking distance from tavernas and shops, even in the off season when many were shut. The kids loved the pool with inflatables even if it was a little cold still in April! Some lovely deserted beaches nearby too. Mike was responsive throughout our stay to any questions. A perfect place from which to explore Crete on our first visit to the island.

If you arrive at 8:30pm in Heraklion and after picking up the rental and driving 1h20 to the villa and the owners are awaiting you with a freshly made Moussaka and some Greek Salad at around 11pm, what does that say about their hospitality? Correct: A LOT! A very warm welcome to the start of you vacation sets the perfect mood for a great experience ahead. The villa is magnificent, having a coffee in the morning overlooking the sea is indescribably beautiful. The pool is great, the terasse with outdoor fridge and barbeque is amazing and the garden is beautiful. The rooms in the villa are very nice, you have everything you need. Nearby there are some nice taverns that offer great local food. The beach variies depending on the season, it can be sandy or with little stones... but you can absolutely enjoy the sea almost on your own as there are not many tourists around. All in all we had a magnificent time.

The apartment was very clean. Beds are very comfortable, air conditioners work perfectly, there is always hot water, the washing machine works very well. Very nice space and great host welcomed with a lot of presents for us! Highly recommend! Good to have a car. Some beaches are nearby and really good ones you need to drive about 15 minutes. Thanks a lot!

A good location right next to the beach, but it was great to also have a pool. We didn't cook, as there was an excellent restaurant nearby, but the kitchen was very well-equipped. The house had everything we needed!
