Wonderful Villa in the middle of nature, and not far from Crete most famous beaches. Finest interior and perfect garden with barbecue area and dehor for unforgettable diners. A particular note of merit for the welcome and communication with the owner Antonis. Highly recommend

The house was FANTASTIC, and super nice. It was very nice having a full kitchen we could cook at. My favourite part was the booklet of beaches and places to eat she had left out. Very helpful having all the descriptions in one place! She also had left beers, and cheese/ham in the fridge for us to make sandwiches! My friends and I stayed at over 7 hotels while in Greece and this was by far our favourite. AC in both bedrooms was super useful at there was a huge heatwave with temperatures up to 45*Celsius while we were there. Mini market walking distance/around the corner for any grocery needs we had, as well as a full size fridge in the apartment were both incredible useful! There was an outdoor area to sit/lie down on beach chairs which were amazing for viewing the stars at night.

Beautiful villa in a quiet village in the mountains. Clean, spacious with lots of goodies left by the host. Homemade olive oil, honey, cakes and much more, perfect to start off our stay. The village has 3 tavernas serving traditional Cretan cuisine, a small mini mart and a pharmacy. If you want privacy, peace and quiet, with your own pool, beautiful mountain views and a hot tub for the chilly nights then this is for you

Elegant tasteful architectural renovation of very old traditional village house in supremely peaceful location. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms and large kitchen. Two patios - one private space and another one on which to eat, overlooking the village and mountains. Helpful and welcoming hosts. Superbly clean and a cleaner came in half-way through stay, washed floors etc and gave new sheets and towels. Fittings and appliances brand new. Mountain village location with tremendous birds and wildlife. Fell asleep to the peep-peep calls of the Nightjar, awoke to the crowing of roosters and a peacock. Accessed by main road between Kissamos and Palaochora via Topolia Gorge - 45 mins to Kisamos, 1.5 hours to Palaochora, around two hours to Chania airport. Thank you Gregory and Eleni, we had a very happy time.

Horio House was so lovely, clean and felt very new and comfortable. Great cooking facilities too. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would absolutely go back there again. The hosts were very welcoming and Maria's Horio House presents of olive oil, wine and raki were delicious and appreciated! Thankyou!
