This little cottage is a gem! We found ourselves not believing we were in such idyllic location and comfortable home - because it felt like home! The hosts were very clear in all the communications, gave loads of suggestions, and prepared an amazing cottage in Scotland for travelers. The beds were comfortable, there are all the needed appliances for a great stay while cooking as well.

The best apartment we have ever stayed in! Beautiful, spectacular decoration. Equipped with everything we need. Very comfortable and has a full kitchen. The owners thought of every detail which made our stay very special. Had bathrobe, slipper, travel toiletry kit. The heating works very well. The bed is very comfortable. But the most special of all was the host's attention to us, there is a coffee maker with many types of coffees and chocolate. Many teas of different flavors. Cookies. Food in the fridge for breakfast - milk, cornflakes, jam, pancakes and cheese. There were also very tasty apples. The location is perfect, you can get to know the whole city on foot and there is free parking. The host also offered us early check in. Fantastic! Thank you to the hosts!

It wasn't difficult to find (even during the night). It had an amazing vibe and stunning views. Host replied to inquiries in a very quick manner.

Gerry was an exceptional host. He was very friendly and helpful. The home (Rose Cottage) itself was exceptional and equipped with all the amenities and modern gadgets to make our stay really comfortable. Rooms were large and clean, the decor was pleasing to the eye and everything was tastefully decorated with all rooms having access to sunlight. The view from the drawing room to the outside lawn area was super impressive. Gerry even took us to the local area store to procure (due to the inclement weather) all the provisions required during our stay. I would say this place was our home away from home for 4 nights so many miles away and we would definitely come back here again. The area is very safe, and we even had long evening walks back from town. We would like to thank Gerry for providing us such a wonderful stay and wonderful memories of Portree. Regards, Parijat

    Our room was immaculate, the linen fresh and the bathroom spotless. The facilities were comfortable, warm and we had a quiet room with a view over the square. The bar staff were friendly, the breakfast delicious and we couldn't have asked for more for our short stay. It is not a luxury hotel, but the service, warmth, comfort and cleanliness made it a wonderful place to lay one's head for an evening.

Everything was brilliant, from the food in the lovely dining room, our deluxe room was what it said, totally luxurious, brekie was magic. The place is just tremendous. Staff are 100%

    The view from our window was stunning. Location at walking distance of restaurants and village sightseeing. Nespresso machine, caramel bars and a choice of teas were definitely a plus in the room.

    It had all the amenities we needed. It was a quiet cottage retreat with amazing views at the same time as being sufficiently close to Dunvegan village for food etc. The layout was good. A big kitchen. Beautiful surrounds.

    The perfect distance from Portree, easy access but with the picturesque views of the village and surrounding, unbeatable. The room was airy, well stocked for a weary traveller, amazing shower and comfy bed. The breakfast was luxurious and the view outstanding. Kind and gracious host. So glad we picked here to stay. Highly recommended.
