The pods are located in Lybster and fairly easy to find. The access was easy, the area around the pods really nicely done with potential for BBQ and spending time outside. The insides of the Pods are extremely well organized, making the most of the little space. We particularly like the thought that had gone into making things as perfect and easy as possible for our stay. The beds were comfortable and we were snug and warm in the pod while a storm raged outside.

We had a fantastic stay at Rose Cottage - it couldn't have been more comfortable! The owners came round when we arrived to ensure we had everything we needed (and left us a sweet welcome pack on our arrival), and they're closeby in case of any issues. The gas cannister needed changing towards the end of our week in the cottage, and within a few minutes of calling them, it was done! Brilliant. There are so many positives about staying here: the space in the cottage, the comfort, the peace and quiet, the lovely walk down to the shore to view the old smokehouse, it's a true "getaway-from-it-all" place. There is a bench in the suntrap garden, on which we ate and drank in the sun almost every evening. The location is also excellent - half an hour from Wick and the nearest Lidl, Tesco, and an hour from Brora, Dunrobin Castle, John O'Groats... We'd all be very happy to stay here again.

The location was great, nice and peaceful, and quiet. Facilities and equipment in the Cottage were really good, quality items all round. Caretaker support was not needed but the caretaker was available at all times. Nearby hotels and farms were great for meals and John o' Groats was not far away at all. Very highly recommended and will look to stay again.
