Our hosts were passionate about what they do, and offered fantastic advice on activities in the area. The accomodation was decorated beautifully and located in such a peaceful part of Lochinver. The breakfast was the best we've had in Scotland, our host was a fantastic chef. We had such a wonderful stay that we'll be back for longer next time. Cannot recommend the Albannach more, it's a little bit of luxury in a wild and beautiful part of Scotland.

The village is a five minute walk with local Spar, butchers/grocers, garage, gift shops etc. plus some nice food options. Owner Stuart was very helpful and welcoming and the place felt like a great retreat from busy normality.

Beautiful lounge area with an open fire leads to a spacious dining room with amazing views over Loch Inver. The bedroom was large with a luxury warm bathroom. Super comfy bed. Dinner was delicious but breakfast was ordinary by comparison and we kept having to ask for more coffee, butter, jam. Very friendly and professional staff
