Villa Catalina is a lovely home in a great neighborhood with a gracious host. The home is exactly as advertised and pictured. Convenient to downtown Annecy and major roadways. Off-street parking with a dedicated space! Close to several local shopping centers. The host, Marc, was exceptionally friendly and gracious. He shared his deep knowledge of he area and passion for local cuisine, which made our stay even better.

The location and space were fantastic for our group of friends. The rooms were spacious and there were enough bathrooms for everyone. We had three children ages 2 and under and the baby-related amenities were perfect. The courtyard was great for toddler explorations and there were several parks within a 10-min walk. Great restaurants near the house. We never had to use our cars, even for the grocery store less than 500m away. The Nespresso machine was a hit with some of our friends. The kitchen was well equipped for the frequent cooking and there were plenty of cleaning supplies to last us four days. The house packed a lot of charm, creaking boards and exposed beams. It was decorated with families in mind and very kid friendly. There were portable fans and heaters for those interested.

Lovely, nicely decorated apartment a couple of flights up (there is a small elevator). Very quiet during the night. Supermarket and bakeries close by. A few minutes walk to the Annecy train station and bus station. Short walk to the lake , the old city and the shopping district. Great Christmas markets. Overall great shopping and restaurants. Annecy is well worth a visit.
