Even better than it looks in the photos. Loved the comfortable furniture and beds and the fire place was a massive bonus when the evening got chilly. While it is slightly out of town, we enjoyed exploring during the walk in. Everything was easy and we appreciated being met and shown around by the lovely owners. I would recommend to anyone.

The property was more beautiful than the photos in the listing. This home/mansion in Bayeux was recently renovated with a beautiful chef's kitchen that included top-notched, new appliances and all of the kitchen tools needed for preparing your meals. The enormous living/dining room was charming with comfortable seating and an easy-to-use large television. The bedrooms were well-appointed with nice linens and comfortable beds. The newly remodeled bathrooms were charming, modern and clean. We appreciated the two Miele washing machines, along with the single clothes dryer. We visited Bayeux in March and the weather was cool so we did not use the outdoor garden area, however, it too is very charming. There were four of us (two couples) and plenty of room to spread out. The property is centrally located, within walking distance to restaurants, shops and historic sights. Communications with the owner were excellent, In a nutshell, the property couldn't have been nicer.

As a family of 4 we loved everything about this home. It was comfortable and had all of the things we needed for our stay in Bayeux. Instructions for accessing the property were sent a few days prior to our stay so we didn't have to worry about whether or not we would be able to get in and the keys were easy to pick up. Francois was timely with replies to the few questions we had, which included the phone number for a local taxi so we could pick up our rental car. Samandine Home had amazing views of the Catherdral, was walkable to shops and restaurants, and had a washing machine which was a huge plus. We were also able to find a photo of the street from 1936 and we loved the authentic, historic feeling of this area.

The pictures really don't do this place justice. It have been newly renovated to a very high standard inside. There was everything you could possibly need in the way a practical stuff. E.g. herbs tea coffee towels toilet rolls. The living area is spacious and everything was on the same floor, great for the older person! The garden is a pleasant place to relax. The people who own the cottage were so helpful and only live 5 mins down the road so if we had any problems, they are there on hand. Highly recommended and yes we will be going back

Our whole experience was wonderful. Elodie is an exceptionally gracious host and made sure to make us welcome and comfortable. The apartment is spacious and clean with everything you could possibly need. Definitely a calm oasis in Bayeux.

The apartment is in a fabulous 18th century mansion, very grand (once hosted a ball for Madame du Barry), on a heritage street of mansions. The views over the rooftops (glimpse) of a cathedral and the quiet gardens behind the mansions are pleasant. The conciegerie who look after the apartement for Bellville responded rapidly when we complained about a blocked wash basin.
