Absolutely everything. We had a lovely time in Äkäslompolo, and staying in Tunturioravat made our stay so much better. It's a lovely cabin, perfectly located, very close to restaurants, coffe places, supermarket, walking/skiing trails, and at the same time you get a nice feeling of being in the middle of nature. The cabin has everything necessary for a great stay. We were lucky enough to spot some amazing, clear, northern lights right outside our cabin. Last but certainly not least, Simon is such a great host, always quickly to respond to texts, super kind, and he went further and beyond to accommodate our requests. We will most definetely return to Äkäslompolo, and there's no question we'll be staying here again. Again, thank you so much for everything!

Fabulous large modern cabin in a fantastic location, feels like you're in the middle of nowhere but a nice walk to restaurants, shops and the supermarket. Close to Yllas swing and ice swimming and Akaslompolo lake. Couldn't ask for more. Has a beautiful log fired sauna and a kota shared by the cabins. Saw the northern lights from our bedroom window 3 night in a row. Drying cabinet and as many logs as you need in the shared shed.

Everything. It was a fantastic holiday home, spacious, warm, cosy and comfortable with absolutely loads of unexpected extras including an easy washing machine, a fantastic sauna and a beautiful veranda looking out into the forest. The beds were comfortable and the shower was excellent. The small kitchen is well equipped and the TV is massive! It really is a beautiful, atmospheric log cabin in the woods, so quiet and snowy! The roads are well maintained and the street is easy to find, and its only a very pleasant 15 mins walk to the large supermarket, the frozen lake, the ski rental places and the restaurants. The underfloor heating was wonderful and the wood burning fire was terrific. Also there was a supply of things other people had bought and left there, such as washing powder, washing up liquid, cooking things like oil, salt and pepper, etc, candles, matches, firelighters, so we didnt have to buy them all over again.... excellent.

Big house with several rooms and few separated beds. Enough for 10 people. For 12 people it would be to crowded. Very well equipped kitchen. House was in good condition. A separate ski storage and wax cabin with wax iron available. A free sledge was available. Cross-country ski track is nearby, at a comfortable walking distance. Snow was cleared regularly from driveway and even backyard.
