The hotel is right downtown close to the central parking lot. Since I was late arriving the proprietor left my key on the front desk for me. The food – we had dinner and breakfast there – is excellent and the staff are friendly, welcoming, and efficient. As you would expect in Switzerland, the place is spotlessly clean, and everything is truly well organised. Plus there is ample safe, reserved parking if you travel by car. Mathew (son of the owners) was our inn-keeper and he treated us like we were some special dignitaries. He upgraded our room, arranged for us to get to Stein (cheese making village) and sent the wait staff to the private back patio to bring us drinks from the bar. He created us like we were old friends and introduced us to his parents, Dinner in the restaurant was wonderful and the patio was comfortable and well served by the staff. At our request, the host has immediately bought a ventilator for our room. The hostel was so close to the center of the village. So it was very convenient to eat, shop and visit the surroundings.
