Too much to fit in 3 sentences; the location was mind blowing, the service was exceptional, the food and facilities were great. The stand out was the staff and their assistance, and the views!

The good location to travel in toyama, and easy to continue to others, Tateyama, etc. Nice reception and check-in and out process. Good delicious breakfast buffet and one special menu for everyone. This is very nice place for me and my family, hope it's for everyone as well.

Dotato di sistemazioni a 3 stelle, l'Oarks Canal Park Hotel Toyama si trova a Toyama, a 8 km da Toyama-kō e dal Toyama Family Park. Excellent choice for accommodation in Toyama. Very close to the station and even in wet weather it was close to the underpass. Staff were so lovely and obliging. Highly recommend and would stay again.

The all-you-can-eat buffet was excellent. Especially the dinner, which provided a wide array of different both Japanese and Western foods. The public baths are both very nice with outdoor and indoor pools. The facilities overall are very well maintained and the lobby in particular is atmospheric in the evenings. Close to the train station.

EcoHotel is situated in Toyama, within 1 km of Toyama Station and 8.9 km of Toyama-kō. The 3-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with a private bathroom and free WiFi. its an old hotel but almost everything has been upgraded, except the decor is still sort of '80s. but I like a retro vibe. they didn't hook up the bidet toilets, i'm ok with that , too, there was a sign notifying customers at the front desk that the rooms have a basic toilet , not the usual "does everything" Japanese toilet. There is an elevator, which made me happy as I need, but a dozen stairs still have to be climbed. Every floor had a vending machine for drinks, with the reception area also having beer in that vending machine. Plus zillions of vending machines out front, too. One microwave available for each whole floor, next to the vending machine. I'm ok with that, too, zillions of restaurants all around the hotel , and it keeps the food stink out of the rooms. Its in the BAR district so super loud from about 10 pm to 4 am, but only if you crack open your window, which isn't necessary as the rooms have excellent A/c. The reception area also had free cookies, candies, and bouillon packets for guests ( to make soup with the hot water boiler that is in each room ) so that was a nice touch. Short walk to the tram.
