The hotel is immaculate and the rooms with the amazing views of the lake are gorgeous. It’s in a perfect location right by the lake and ferries and the centre with all its restaurants is just a short stroll away. The restaurant right next door is great too! The roof terrace with its wonderful views over the lake is fantastic and the perfect place to enjoy a lovely, cold Aperol Spritz after a long day of sightseeing. Daniela and her team were all lovely and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. I definitely recommend staying here if you’re going to Stresa, we’ll certainly be returning.

This 19th-century villa is set 200 metres from Cannobio's Blue Flag beach on Lake Maggiore. Villa Palmira is a child-free hotel just 5 minutes' walk from Cannobio centre. Everything, but especially the kindness and consideration of the owners and staff, in addition to the beautiful property in a beautiful setting. Grazie mille! Breakfast was superb, such a range of delicious choices. Cannobio, a very pretty town, in a beautiful location, offers so much to see and enjoy- we stayed 6 nights and would easily have enjoyed longer, even without travelling out to other locations like Baveno and Re. A wonderful holiday.
