I had to find lodging on short notice after my business trip was interrupted, and stumbled across the Rookery. The location could not be better for accessing the beach and coastal trail, and it was only a bus ride to Poole/Bournemouth, with fantastic views along the way. Alan was also a fantastic and welcoming host, with a wealth of knowledge and recommendations for visiting the area.

This was our first stay in Weymouth, and our first with the Anchorage and we were not disappointed. The accommodation is comfortable, exceptionally clean and beautifully maintained. As for views, well we were spoilt we had views of the beach from our room and from the breakfast room. While using the stairs we were also treated to views over the harbour. The breakfast was great, cooked perfectly, especially the bacon and the poached egg, just the way we like it :). Jamie and Sarah are the perfect hosts, and we would recommend the Anchorage to anyone looking for that perfect place by the sea.

Situated in the coastal town of Swanage, The Sandhaven offers free MESH WiFi. Less than a 2-minute stroll from the beach and panoramic views of Swanage Bay, Swanage Pier is also 17 minutes' walk away.... Hosts Martine and John are a wonderful couple. Just 1-minute from the sea, Arcadia Guest House in Weymouth offers stylish rooms with free Wi-Fi. A full English breakfast is available at this Dorset guest house, which also has free on-site parking.... I liked the single room in the loft, it had a lot of character. The service was great with new hot drink satchels and biscuits every day. I looked forward to getting back after seeing the sights.

Centrally located in Weymouth, The Mayfair is opposite the Jubilee Clock Tower. Great location and a warm welcome. The rooms are homely, comfortable, spacious, and sparkling clean. The breakfast is fantastic. The atmosphere is more like home than a B&B. Stayed here to visit Tank Fest, and hike sections of the South West Coast Path; in particular Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door.
