The owner of the facility live on the same site and greeted us personally as we arrived. She was very friendly and helpful and even tried to help us find a place for one more night. As it was the weekend of the Wheels & Wings meeting, there was no way of finding a vacant place. Her suggestions where highly appreciated and we would have never ever found that very nice Cafe to have breakfast.

Located within a few steps of Västra Stranden Beach and 2.6 km of Jutarum Beach in Halmstad, Kottehusen på Söder provides accommodation with seating area. The setting is amazing - beautiful views straight out to sea, with sand at your feet. The meadows surrounding the huts are lovely, and it felt like the perfect balance of nature and comfort. The huts are very sweet and the bed really comfortable. The toilets and showers and clean and practical. It was easy to get to - a 30 mins walk from the train station, or a bus from Halmstad. The staff were really helpful - they even lent us a couple of bikes so we could make the most of the lovely cycling paths around the area - we went to the brilliant Simstadion Brottet, a free open-air swimming pool just around the bay.

Beautifully situated on the picturesque Särö peninsula on Sweden's west coast, just 20 km from Gothenburg, this stylish hotel offers wonderful sea views and luxurious leisure facilities. Beautiful location near the sea, excellent interior, breakfast/dinner very good. Free parking. SPA is one of the best. Will return again to this hotel.
