My room was facing the harbour and my timing was perfect as aI saw the cruise ship come and go. The hotel is very close to the town central so a very convenient location. Breakfast foods was freshly prepared. Throughout the hotel the staff were friendly and eager to please the guest. I particularly liked the extra touch of hats for the guest, the delivery of a fruit basket upon arrival and the hand deliver of an afternoon "cookie pack". I am a very satisfied customer!

The 4-star Octant Furnas is located in São Miguel Island, in Vale das Furnas, site of the largest concentration of thermal waters in Europe. personal and cozy hotel where every detail was well thought out. Fantastic breakfast and excellent dinner restaurant. The thermal bath receives a high rating. The staff is incredibly helpful and nice.

I enjoyed my stay so much that I immediately booked the accommodation again when I returned from a trip to another island.

The spa is lovely and offers a sanctuary away from the bustling streets. Many thanks for the lovely stay to the whole team. We’d choose this hotel again.

The communication with host was very easy. All the necessary information was provided in time. A small welcome token (wine, cheese, jam) was unexpected but really nice. The apartment is simply amazing. It is recently refurbished. Everything is pretty new and comfy. The duplex arrangement with two bedrooms on upper floor is very nice for a family.
