Saccharum - Resort & Spa is a luxury 5-star design hotel located on Calheta Beach, between the mountains of Madeira and the Atlantic Ocean. Great hotel! Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our room was quite comfortable with possibly the best bed we slept on during our month long trip. Bathroom was clean, and the balcony was a nice addition. Great AC. Parking was easy and close. This hotel has the best, most elaborate breakfast I’ve ever experienced. It was delicious and filling and varied. We loved the beach club area, though would recommend water shoes as the beach is quite rocky. Would gladly stay here again.

Perched on a cliff facing the Atlantic Ocean, this design hotel is within a renovated traditional farmhouse. The nature of hotel is insane. I liked our stay and the staff was very friendly . We booked for a wrong day and they still accommodate us without penaltyis. Thank you for everything.

The newly renovated 4-star Hotel Baía Azul is ideally situated a 4-minute walk from Funchal’s beachfront. Honestly everything! Maybe one of the best hotel stays ever. The sun deck balcony is amazing place to relax and chill, the hotel staff is great, the views stunning. Can’t wait to come back!

Monumental Plaza by Petit Hotels mempunyai akomodasi ber-AC di Funchal, 6 menit jalan kaki dari Pantai Gorgulho - Gavinas, 3 km dari Pantai Formosa, dan 2,3 km dari Marina do Funchal. The hotel is very well located, there are many bars, restaurants, and shops close by. Our room was clean, and very well equipped, with a nice balcony. The host was very helpful (the best host we ever had!). It is possible to park under the hotel and the location makes it perfect as a gateway to the island. Great stay.
