The 5-star Martinhal Sagres is located in the Algarve region overlooking the beach, 3km from the historic fishing port of Sagres. It offers boutique-style rooms and villas with private balconies and terraces. Lovely place. I have been here before and came again. The resort is right on a lovely typical Portuguese beach; it also has a few pools scattered around the resort area, all lovely and clean. There's plenty of stuff to do for the children and the resort is really geared towards catering for them. The kids had a whale of a time.

Plenty of towels too. Breakfast full Portuguese style. Plenty of choices.

Located in Salema, Apartamento Salema 33 features accommodation with a private pool and garden views. The property has city and quiet street views, and is 400 metres from Salema Beach. The accommodation provides free WiFi throughout the property, as well as a terrace and a modern restaurant.

Activities such as snorkelling, cycling, hiking can be enjoyed in the surroundings, and guests can relax along the beachfront. The apartment features an outdoor fireplace and a children's playground. The apartment is great. It's spacious, bright, each room has a million dollar ocean view and it felt very cozy, more like home and never like a hotel. Comfy beds. For 4 people its a jackpot and it doesn't get better than this in Salema. The terrace was also a thing of its own. The apartment is the last one in the building, so you get the privacy, it has a view of the town and the ocean that is equally spectacular both daytime and nighttime. Also you get a bit of mood light and fresh herbs in there. Its a great place to chill after sunset (it can get pretty chilly on the beach due to the ocean breeze). The kitchen was well equipped and it was a pleasure to be in - given that in the town of Salema you can't really get a seat in the restaurant without prior reservation, it did come in very handy. Theres a market in a building downstairs that can cover all your needs, including a very wide selection of wines and fresh bread and pastries in the morning. For large shopping you can drive to larger markets nearby, but they can get very crowded in the afternoon so expect queues. The barbecue was also awesome, especially that you can get freshly caught fish & veg in the morning as well. Theres no air conditioning, but inside the apartment it wasn't that necessary. On the terrace the heat was very intense in the midday though! Sunbathe there and you'll be crispy in no time. The beach is couple minutes away on foot with two ways of access, either downhill but over longer distance or closer, but with stairs. For activities, you can get a lot to keep you busy including dolphin watching, kayaking, snorkeling, etc. Definitely try the surfing lessons in Sagres. The town itself is very touristy but it keeps its original vibe, unlike larger cities nearby. No problems with parking near the apartment, though you'll probably want to be doing all your exploration on foot. Our host (Silvie) was super communicative, helpful and speaks great English.

It is 7 km from the green areas of the Southwest Alentejo and Vicentine Coast Natural Park. We have enjoyed our experience in Paraíso Escondido so much. Berny, Glen and Gisela are very friendly. The place is beautiful and our cabin had the most amazing view. Dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious and healthy. Hope we can stay there again.

Speaking English, Spanish and Portuguese, staff are ready to help around the clock at the reception. We loved the indoor pool. The room was very clean and confortable, the bathroom was very nice and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bar at the entrance was really nice and the bartender made very good cocktails.

We felt immediately very welcome! The place is practical and the bed was really comfy. It was also nice to have a garden.

Amazing quiet stay at a beautiful property. The staff were so kind and we were in love with Nina the resident cat. Super sweet kitty, we miss her already. The breakfast was very nice, all sorts of items so something for everyone. Dina was very lovely too, but all staff made us feel very welcome. Coffee machine, microwave and water boiler in our house was great. And the spa bath was also amazing in November/ December to stay warm. Thanks for the lovely days!
