Questa magnifica residenza di campagna sorge alle porte di Enniskerry, a 5 minuti a piedi dal Palazzo e dai Giardini di Powerscourt, e a 30 minuti di auto da Dublino, e propone camere spaziose e... L'hotel è in mezzo al verde, posto tranquillissimo a solo mezz'ora da Dublino. Lo staff è sempre presente gentile e preparato. La na stanza era molto grande, letti grandi ma per il resto nella norma. Una menzione speciale al ristorante dove ci siamo fermati per la cena e la colazione. Cibo veramente ottimo, materia prima eccellente. La colazione è abbondante, varia dalla continentale a quella irlandese preparata sul momento dalla cucina. E ancora una volta lo staff è veramente ben organizzato e gentile.

Hard to single out a particular thing as our two day stay was thoroughly enjoyable. All the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. The smell of burning wood from the open fire in the reception lounge. The outdoors hot tub is so enjoyable. Everything in the spa is spotless and very well maintained (swimming pools, sauna, steam room) and comfortable. We did not opt for the fine dining restaurant but enjoyed tasty light food in the confortable bar-lounge.

Upon returning to my room after a day of exploring the grounds, I was met with a delightful surprise—a beautifully adorned table featuring a small, delicious birthday cake. The attention to detail was impeccable, and it was evident that the manager had gone above and beyond to make this moment memorable. It was a delightful treat, and the accompanying birthday card added a warm, personal touch that left a lasting impression. What made this experience truly exceptional was the manager's genuine effort to ensure that my birthday was celebrated in a way that surpassed my expectations. This small but meaningful act not only showcased the manager's attention to detail but also reflected the overall ethos of Powerscourt Hotel—a dedication to making each guest feel special and valued. It's these personalised touches that set this establishment apart, creating a lasting connection and ensuring that every guest feels like a VIP.

Overlooking the sea and just a short walk from Arklow town, the hotel offers tasty food, an impressive leisure club and 91 rooms, some with spectacular sea views. I liked the walk around the hotel, the birds and the lake. The hotel was nice and the room clean. We ordered in. Food was good.
