Featuring a fitness centre, a terrace as well as a bar, Gleneagles Townhouse is set in the centre of Edinburgh, 400 metres from Edinburgh Waverley station. Staff was friendly and professional. Dining room food was excellent, including breakfast. Room decor was exceptional, especially the green bathroom tiling. I liked the green bathrobes so much, I purchased one for use at home. Location was ideal.

Very large king room. Shower head was great. Didn't know there was a large indoor pool/sauna/spa when I booked, and they were wonderful. Large variety at breakfast. £18 if not prebooked, £12 if prebooked. Katie, Donald, and David at the front desk were very helpful with all details and a wealth of local information and suggestions for attractions/dining. It is one block off The Royal Mile, quiet at night for good sleep.

Craigey Beach Home is a beachfront property set in Edinburgh, 1.3 km from Portobello Beach and 3.7 km from Edinburgh Playhouse. I loved absolutely everything at this place. Helpful hosts with all recommendations, rooms, fully equipped kitchen, tidiness, cleanliness, peaceful atmosphere, and location, just 15-20 minutes from the center by bus . The house is 2 minutes from the bus station. House rooms are well-designed and make you feel as if you are staying at home. Very comfortable beds, one bedroom with own bath room. The hosts have left so many sweets, and candy, coffee, tea, oil, spices...Very kind from their side and our mood in the morning was very nice drinking the coffee. with such delicious cakes. And we could prepare the meal in the big kitchen :-) .The house is in a small district, Not far is the beach, where you could walk near the sea. Without any doubt, if and when I'm around, I'll be returning back. I've traveled the world a lot - very highly recommended place! Take my word for it. All my friends loved absolutely everything at this house.

Kimpton Charlotte Square Hotel is situated in Edinburgh, just metres from Princes Street and George Street. Loved how helpful the staff was, the decor was beautiful, spa and gym were awesome and the rooms were very comfortable. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and celebrated.

With free parking, a spa and an award-winning restaurant, Marine North Berwick has views across the Firth of Forth. Overlooking North Berwick Golf Club, the grand building has stylish rooms. People at front desk were so helpful!

Just around the corner from Calton Hill, the 4-star Apex Waterloo Place hotel epitomises luxury living in the heart of Edinburgh. The location and how quiet it was. The staff are great!!!
