Overall, everything was perfect. The room was large enough, the supplies were sufficient, and the service staff were very kind and tried their best to meet all our needs during our stay. I have to mention Charlie, he is seriously the funniest person I have ever met in the UK. The hot tub should be the biggest feature of this hotel. My wife and I enjoyed it for three whole days and were very satisfied. The price/performance ratio is very good. The hotel is located in the middle of the two towns of Bowness and Windermere, and it is very convenient to walk to both towns. In any case, I will definitely recommend this hotel next time I come to the Lake District, or if my friends want to travel to the Lake District.

The 5-star Beaumont House is a Victorian property featuring many original features with a tranquil location, just metres from the heart of Windermere. Breakfast was best I have had on this holiday. Managers were awesome, professional and so friendly.

St John's Lodge is an award-winning guest house situated between Windermere village and the Lake at Bowness Bay. Very friendly and helpful owner. Very comfortable and beautiful accomodation with lots of carefully crafted details. Amazing breakfast!
