Melfort Village is set in a lochside location, 24 km from Oban. Furnace is 23 km away. The units include a dining/seating area with a satellite flat-screen TV. this place is great. You're tucked away in the hills and valleys below Oban. You're really in nature - with lots of paths to walk, easy to go to Easdale (a local recommendation) and overall a cozy stay. Olwan is a gem - she drew lovely maps for us, with recommendations of places and things for us to do. Go to the Kilmaford Bar on Tuesday nights for Live local music. IT was the highlight of our WHOLE trip.

Holly Lodge - Luxury Two Kingsize bedrooms with private entrance - entire place is an accommodation situated in Oban, 4.7 km from Dunstaffnage Castle and 48 km from Kilmartin House Museum. Beautiful accommodation,Caroline was there to greet us. Perfect host. Friendly and chatty,made us both very Welcome. Accommodations was bright,very Clean and Comfortable,short walk into town. Nice and Quiet. Would definitely stay again.

Boasting lake views, Upper Villa, Tighnabruiach, Argyll & Bute offers accommodation with a garden and a terrace, around 37 km from Benmore Botanic Garden. We spent fantastic 3x nights in Upper Villa. Great views, very cosy apartment well equiped ( variety of spices/coffee/tea plus lovely gesture from host who left us a bottle of prosecco on arrival) and nice garden with decking. A lovely wee toilet with shower downstairs specifically designed for dogs was a nice touch too. Very helpful neighbours who gave us some tips about local walks. Close to Portavadie marina and stunning Kilbride Bay. Kim our host was fantastic and very caring- check out time was at 10 am but we had a late cruise organised in the afternoon and our host let us stay longer until 12 which was very convenient. Will definitely come back!

Island View is an accommodation located in Oban, 5.5 km from Dunstaffnage Castle and 47 km from Kilmartin House Museum. Spotless, spacious apartment with glorious views, a lovely living area and comfy bedrooms. Everything you need is on hand - WiFi, Netflix, coffee maker, washing machine etc. Added bonus: the hosts provide comprehensive - and jolly useful - notes on where to go and what to do in the area.

Lochwood Guest House Wing offers self-catering accommodation situated within 3.5 acres of private grounds overlooking Lochgoil, 4 km from Lochgoilhead village. Fantastic location great views and wildlife very good accommodation, great hosts, gave us a real boost a proper holiday.

Strathlachlan Lodge, Luxury Country House with Hot tub & Sauna is a charming destination in a tiny Scottish hamlet, surrounded by mountains and forests. The Lodge has everything, superbly equipped. Every time you thought, it would be good if......we looked and it was there. There are even bikes to be used which our kids enjoyed. The Lodge was exceptionally clean when we arrived. The location is so peaceful and quiet. We stayed as a family of 4 with teens and made full use of the hot tub, sauna and relaxation room. This really added a luxurious feel to the trip and a delightful addition to the Lodge. We used the Lodge as a base to have days trips around Argyll. Picking up fresh seafood and cooking at the Lodge in the large well equiped kitchen was a great way to spend an evening. The Lodge is also walkable to the Inver restaurant which is a gem and absolutely worth going to if staying. The Lodge owner was fab, gave clear instructions and easily contactable if required.

Loch Fyne Hotel & Spa enjoys wonderful views across Loch Fyne to the Cowal Hills. Offering en suite rooms, the hotel boasts a swimming pool and spa. Spent a few very relaxing days here. The staff are very friendly, I found my room to be wonderfully comfortable!

Built in the late 1800s, The Perle Oban Hotel & Spa is an iconic, historic building on Oban's seafront. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from Oban Railway Station and the Cal Mac ferry terminal. loved the location on the front with the lovely views of the water. the nice, big, airy room. the copious breakfast. and the staff, all of whom were so pleasant and helpful, an absolute delight.

Situated on the crescent of Craignure Bay, The Isle of Mull Hotel and Spa has stunning views over to Morvern and the west coast. Great hotel and very friendly staff!
