Guests at Alsik – Hotel & Spa can enjoy a buffet breakfast. Fantastic breakfast. I have never experienced a larger selection of amazing food. Everything you could dream of. Nice staff and beautiful rooms. Remember to get a room with harbor view.

Beautiful Appartement with excellent location and standard. Even in winter comfortable and cosy.

Guests can rent a car from Mersted Holiday House upon request. Mersted also features a large event room that guests can book for different events. What attracted us the most to book the place was the playground. My kids loved that. And it is a really nice playground.

Guests can enjoy free access to the 2,600 m² spa and wellness centre. It features a gym, sauna and steam room, in addition to bookable beauty treatments. There are also a restaurant and bar on site. Bicycles and golf equipment are available for rent. We loved our stay as a family of 5 with a toddler and preteens. We were a bit prudent of all the comments we read about the bad places to eat etc. but everything was fine. The restaurant provides fair enough food morning and evening, and there are many little shops around that provide all you need for your own cooking. In addition they are few restaurants on the island as well. Of course it is not fine dining, but if you want that, you book a 5* hotel. The view was super nice, and most of all it was quiet around! Access to the beaches was also super easy and as a bonus the pool is also nice for a swim. Kids tried the entertainment of the bowling and enjoyed it as well. The bungalow as well was fine, it had all stuff needed and it was well cleaned. We don't understand either people acting surprised about the charges for utilities as it is mentioned all over the place - we paid like 50 Euro for 4 days.

And easy to visit places like Ribe, Romo ❤️

Children will enjoy the on-site playground. The hotel is a bit rundown. Primarily the door handles of most rooms are coming off because non-Danes don't realize that you have to pull the handle up when unlocking or locking the door. The rooms are overall quite comfortable and the facilities (sauna's and small pool) are very nice after a hike to the beach or a horseback ride. The horse riding facilities are excellent.
