A small grocery store is at the reception, bigger one is in the town about 2km and in 20 km in Silkeborg there's everything. Aarhus is not far away as well. The house is big with 1 living room, bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor and 3 bedrooms and sauna/bathroom on 1st floor. The kitchen is well equipped, there's a big TV with Netflix & co., big terrace, everything super clean. We have been there at the new year's eve, all houses were occupied and perform an unbelievable firework. On the last day there was a lot of snow in one night and the owner proposed to stay for a night more, very nice from her. Unfortunately, we had to go.

And a new Fitness Center is also available. Charming hotel by the lake. The rooms (we had 2) were spacious and nicely decorated with Danish furniture. Great views over the lake from the breakfast table. We enjoyed the spa with indoor swimming, an outdoor hot Jacuzzi, a Viking shower (cold water bucket), a sauna, and a steam bath (pic from our hotel room shows the outdoor spa facilities). It turned to a rainy day, so heading to Mønsted Kalkgruber (lime mines) was terrific and one of the highlights of our tour. Endless caves with magical light. Kids and adults loved it.
