Established in 1887, the 5-star Splendide Royal with its turn-of-the-century character is Lugano's most fashionable hotel, located on Lugano's lakeside main street. The amenities, the food and the location are great, but the staff is amazing- both professional and very friendly. The view from the balcony was impressive. The hotel overall overcame my expectations so I will definitely return there and strongly advise.
