Surrounded by a private 30,000 m² park, the 4-star superior Seehotel Europa is only a few steps away from the shore of Lake Wörth and the centre of Velden. It offers a private beach. Beautiful setting on the lake in a charming small town that is easily accessed by train. The rooms are large and well appointed. The breakfast buffet was the best ever and the evening restaurant food was excellent. The indoor pool, saunas and spa services were just what weary travelers needed!

Location is as great. Hosts were very kind. They had a bar and ice cream stand. She was really kind and ran a load of wash which helped a lot.

Landhaus Streklhof is set amidst the hills and meadows of Southern Carinthia, 3 km from Lake Wörthersee and 4 km from the centre of Velden. This hotel is perfectly set up for an active Austrian holiday. The rooms are dark and quiet so you can sleep well. The breakfast is extensive and the coffee good. After your day hiking or cycling you can relax on a sun lounger in the orchard, go for a swim or enjoy the excellent sauna. The location is outside of Velden so you do need a car. We were also able to charge the car and our E-bikes. They also have plenty of staff so you never have to wait to order a drink and the room was cleaned every day.
