Everything was perfect and beyond amazing! Photos don’t do it’s justice for sure. We didn’t know what to expect when we booked it without much planning and not knowing about the area as we’re on our road trip from Uk to Croatia. Saw the listing on Booking.com and the place looked exactly how we like and what we wanted for a while but couldn’t find elsewhere. Chalet sofija is nestled among the peaks of the Jura alps. Standing so grandly but so well blended in with the natural beauty around the mountains, we were blown away by it’s gorgeous architecture and tasteful decor and complete luxurious feel the moment we walked into the chalet. This is a super prime luxury property! When we arrived, we were greeted by the host and owner of chalet sofija Alessandra and her beloved dog Tracy. We have two dogs with us and they were delighted to have met new friends. The moment we walked in our jaws dropped by breathtaking view of the mountains with wide deck and infinity swimming pool which is heated 30 degree over looking the mountains and there are sauna and spa also looking over the magnificent view. Pope the owner and Alessandra definitely design so carefully and with no expense spared to make the most of benefits that the mountains give. There are big windows everywhere you’ll have panoramic view from every part of the chalet. Rooms- I almost cried when we walked into our room which also has panoramic view. it’s beyond my imagination how beautiful this huge room. Love how luxurious but at the same time you feel like you’re so close to nature. From the small amenities to super tech built in TV and remote controlled blinds system if necessary to have deep sleep. We also enjoyed fine dining experience by Pope who is renowned restauranteur in Slovenia. Breakfast & dinner both absolutely amazing we felt so pampered while we stayed. With it’s one of a kind view and style, I’m sure the season doesn’t matter!

The house was great, spacious, clean, well equipped, really felt like a home. Its located in a nice area with a gorgeous view towards the Špik group of mountains. The only regret is that I didnt start the fire place, would have been really nice! Perhaps next time....

The establishment is adorable, with a humble façade, framed by such an amazing view. Walking through the front doors, the decor is simultaneously both modern and rustic, with every mechanism finely honed. Anjem is a fantastic host. As the first face you see, walking into the establishment, he knows exactly how to take care of you, if you let him. Everyday, breakfast was extremely consistent. The kitchen is like a microcosm of the entire experience, clean, well-constructed, and excellent in producing quality experiences. Erazem, as our waiter, became more than such for us, almost immediately. His service was top notch, with a sharp mind and attention to detail. One of the best men I've had the pleasure of meeting for sometime. Our rooms were immaculate through the entire experience. Sladjana, as our housekeeper, had an uncanny knack of ninja-like execution of tidying up every time we were out of the room. You would never have known she was there, save for the transformation after she was gone. The entire area is sheer wonder, with ample snow for skiing, trails leading to waterfalls, and homemade Slovenian food around nearly every corner. Frankly one of the best trips we have ever had.

House is located far outside the main road, which gaurantee peaceful relaxation. Sauna and jacuzzi are great addition which help rest after sightseeing nearby attractions. Location of the house is just perfect to start hiking through near trails. And the view which greets us every morning from the second floor is just like from fairy tale!

Vesna Slovenia

The apartment is spacious and very clean. It is located in a small village next to Kranjska Gora (only 2 kms away from the main bus station). It has two balconies and the view to the surrounding mountains is breathtaking.
