Staff and Service. Top notch where nothing is too much trouble. Everyone has a smile and the overall vibe is delightful. There was an issue with WiFi in my room and it was responded to quickly and effectively. Food. Absolutely wonderful. The dinner menu at 40 Euros is a bargain... apertif, amuse boche, breads, starter, soup, main, dessert, and coffee. The food is well prepared and the portions are ample. I note the size of portions is much better than a previous stay seven years ago. Room. I stayed in the suite and love its ambience. Snacks. From 4 PM to 6 PM there is a selection of snacks... sweet and savory. They are diverse and change every day.

Amelia was a very generous, informative and friendly host and shared her ancestral home with guests in a very open-hearted and generous way. The breakfast room and spread was incredible as was the free drinks and tea cakes that Amelia provided to guests throughout the day. The common spaces to relax were beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The locztion is very central to the town and for a base for hiking. We would definitely come again!

Our bedroom was nicely furnished and extremely comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful (e.g. preparing us a packed lunch for our hike, ironing a shirt before dinner, reserving spa facilities). Breakfast and dinner in the restaurant were delicious and we enjoyed stunning views. Highly recommended if you want a quiet break in nature (and worth the drive!)

It has been in the same family for many generations It's lovely decorated with furniture and paintings and accessories of times gone by. If you like history and friendly staff it's a great place for a day or two. Many nice walks to explore the area and a visit to the Burel factory as well as the thermal spa is must. Breakfast was wonderful too.

Staying amongst the centuries old surroundings is truly amazing. There is so much to take in. Our spacious room was very comfortable, with a large bed. We enjoyed having a bathtub. The room has a small fridge which was convenient. There is an area where you have access to drinks and treats. The breakfast choices were vast and delicious. The location is excellent for walking within the town. We would absolutely be thrilled to return!

It was like to sleep in museum or castle. Owner was nice. Breakfast was super great. There is also beutiful garden to relax with pool. I do not have to mention that was clean. Also you can use reading / tv watching room and billiard room. But the house- wow. Also the town is pretty.
