Warm welcome from host Fernando. We arrived by bicycle and he let us store them in a garage. The accommodation is in roof space and is very cleverly laid out given the restriction in space. The final access to the room is via a steep, narrow, wooden staircase, which could be difficult for some. Once in the room it is absolutely delightful. Fernando has given a huge amount of thought to the decor, very tasteful. Windows from the kitchen area and lounge area make it very bright. View to the castle is lovely. 2 very comfortable chairs and small dining table and stools. Kitchen has a 2 ring hob, microwave, fridge, toaster, cafetiere. Good amount of crockery and pans. Coffee, tea, sugar, oils and condiments provided, along with crackers and jam. Good size bathroom, shower was excellent. Bedroom area was a good size and the bed very comfortable. TV in the bedroom. WiFi excellent. The accommodation is in a lovely street very close to the castle. We really enjoyed our stay and Fernando's hospitality.

Great house and great and quiet location. Very friendly owner and she gave us very nice tips for sightseeing and restaurants. The sauna and jacuzzi are certainly a plus. We loved to walk around, chat with the people from the village and pet the donkeys. I strongly recommend the visit to the near village of S. Joanico.

Nice and clean room, decent shower, good breakfast. Behind the house is a factory where they make their own meat and sausages, which is served in the nearby restaurant and part of your breakfast!
