The entire house was exceptional, with the choice of privacy in our own large suite with private garden, or joining other guests in the 2 kitchens and beautiful communal lounge. The lounge has amazing views of lake Maggiore, so we frequently found the best way to relax after a day out was to sit and watch day become night around the lake. Cristina is the queen of hosts. Nothing was too much trouble for her and we won't forget the cakes she produced for all the guests on a daily basis. We even learned to speak a little Italian with her too.
