Excellent historical hotel, restored and refurbished to the highest standards. Excellent location on janpath. Excellent service. Fabulous facilities. We had interconnecting rooms which beautifully accommodated our family of 4. Forest Essentials products in bathroom were a lovely touch.

The staff, they were all so professional and polite. Breakfast was amazing. I noted staff didn’t take tips and asked for it to be handed at the time of checkout. This is a much better option, it saves the embracement of customer trying to find their money to tip staff.

Indian hospitality is taking up a notch here. You truly are treated as a VIP guest. From the pickup by the hotel driver from the airport (truly professional driver) to check in and service. I loved how kind all the staff was. From the elevator man to the staff on the room floors. Would definitely be back if I am back in New Delhi.

Room service is amazing, clearly the cleanliness and interior design of the room is much better than the price shown in the picture. They also serve vegetarian food at reasonable prices, I booked for family stay but room capacity is 3 so perfect for family too and for first good experience in Delhi I will always choose this again and again .
