Breakfast was excellent with lots of food options and good service. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Couldn’t ask for better. The location couldn’t have been better. Easy access to many excellent restaurants and many, many attractions. A perfect place if one wants enjoy the city.

The facilities were fabulous! Breakfast was delicious. The kids loved the outdoor spaces, especially the dinosaurs. Beds were very comfortable.

The location is great: 15 minutes walk from the Kilkenny Castle, in a quiet area, and close to other facilities (supermarkets and take away). The room was big, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and well organised. The common area was very tidy and spacious. Breakfast was great and the owners were very friendly with us during all the stay. Highly recommended!

The grounds are fab, with short or long walks which makes a great start to a sunny day with plenty of fresh air. Food is excellent and breakfast is well organised with a self service area. The room had a balcony looking out onto the gardens. The pool is a lovely relaxed space with a jacuzzi and steam room and it was great to have the pool to ourselves at times. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at the Lyrath and look forward to another visit in the future.

The staff were friendly, welcoming and efficient. our room was spacious, with a beautiful view of the castle. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was tasty and our server was a happy chap. We look forward to returning to the River Court.
