Overlooking the River Liffey, The Spencer Hotel is 10 minutes from the famous O'Connell Bridge and 20 minutes from the Temple Bar and Grafton Street.

Each air-conditioned room includes a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. Some of the guestrooms feature a seating area or a balcony with magnificent city views. All rooms include Nespresso coffee machines and tea making facilities. Each room is fitted with a private bathroom with power shower and complimentary Handmade Soap Company toiletries.

The location of the hotel and view of the river were exceptional. The front desk manager Tommy was extremely helpful in giving me an early check in which is exactly what I needed after a long flight and transit. He accommodated me without blinking an eye and let me change rooms the next day because of construction work. Even after moving rooms, he called to check that my new room was ok and when I asked for a flatter pillow, he saw to it immediately. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms were warm. Tommy gave me 5 star treatment in a 4 star hotel and for that I was very grateful and impressed. The hotel was one of the best parts of my trip to dublin. I would definitely go back to stay there as long as Tommy is there, I know I’ll be taken care of.

The room I booked had a leak in the hallway coming in from the rain outside, however the staff were proactive in knocking our door to see if everything was ok and when they learned of the leak they then immediately upgraded us to a suite. The staff could not have been more friendly, courteous and accommodating. My partner and I were very happy with our stay and with how we were treated.

Wonderful hostel in a superb location for train and bus connections. Staff in all areas of the hostel were attentive and helpful. Breakfast was filling and very reasonably priced. The sleeping pods are a superb addition to create that quiet space needed after being out and about. Plenty of varied entertainment at night in the bar for relaxing and winding down.

The hostel was easy to get to and from in a nice, relatively quiet location. Staff were friendly and helpful, bathroom clean and no disruption in the room from other guests. The lobby, bar, patio and dining areas were spacious with plenty of seating and a relaxed atmosphere. The Pride party being held on the day I arrived was inviting for guests to join in a social setting. Security was well placed when I returned late at night. Dinner and breakfast were enjoyable. Checking in and out processes were straightforward with useful storage lockers.
