Tamarix Del Mar is a lovely and pleasant hotel located just a short walk from the beautiful black-sanded beach of Kamari. Facilities include an indoor and an outdoor swimming pool, a hot tub, a gym, a restaurant, and a children’s playground. The hotel staff provides excellent service.

Wonderful hospitality. I cannot express in words how kind, welcoming and accommodating the staff was. Shout out to Anna, Elizabeth and Christopher for being so awesome and greeting us every morning with a smile and a "Kalimera!". Also, the cleaning staff did an amazing job and worked for an hour each day on every room, including a complete replacement of beddings and towels - every day! Had some nice games for children that completely saved us since we did not bring anything for our 2 year old.

The owners/hosts, of course Margarita are absolutely wonderful. They make everything just incredible, helpful with basically anything you could need on the island. The breakfast is delicious, the pool and rooms are perfectly kept and clean, and had tons of space for our family of 5 plus baby. The location is great too if you want to be pretty central on the island and also walking distance to one of the better beaches.
