Excellent welcome by the front desk (available in English). Our room was very stylish, comfortable, and clean. Nice attention to details. While we did not take breakfast, the complimentary coffee, tea, spa water, etc. was a lovely amenity.

La Maison Favart is my new “home away from home” This was my first solo trip in many years, after the end of a very long relationship of 13 years in 2020 - I was very anxious about traveling alone to an exhibition in Paris, a Gallery that was showing my work. The position was beyond my expectations - waking up to the Comique Opera House practicing their aira’s every morning was beyond enchanting - there is something magical about the square below and sitting in the afternoons and watching the sun drop over the streets of Paris is a memory I will forever cherish. Each day I would begin in the beautiful dining room and lounge with a coffee and croissant while catching up on the latest news, before setting out on my adventures set by the extraordinary kind and helpful team at La Maison Favart, who’s concierge staff would come and chat me through my day they had planned, call me a taxi or hand me my tickets and send me on my way. This personal level of detail I have not seen before in either the George V Hotel in Paris, The Four Seasons in Florence or the Gritti Palce in Florence and well Soho House generally don’t even remember you stay there - let alone your name. This level of service is beyond excellent - the kindness of the staff and comfort of the hotel made my trip truly exceptional. With regards to the interiors - whimsical and “enchanteur” - there is something spectacular about staying in a Home that was once the birth place of Opera in Paris. You can feel the history and all the good vibes that has gone through these walls over the moments of time. A word about location. On this trip - I walked Paris. Every amazing attraction you are able to walk to. I believe no other arrondissement, this will be possible from. I felt so safe on my own in this area as well. I not only have good stories from my travels to Paris - I have Grand stories… and a happy heart and soul. All my love Ingrid Irsigler
