The friendliness of the host. He kindly allowed me a 23.50PM check-in. The apartment is right beside the river in the centre of Bilbao just a few minutes walk from the Guggenheim and all the main attractions of Bilbao, on the beautiful riverside walk. All public transport options very near (trains, trams, buses) and an excellent bar-restaurant just next door but still the apartment is perfectly quiet.

Zigor at checkin was particularly helpful in advising some places for dinner on the first evening and locations for breakfast in case we didn’t want to eat in the hotel.

Especially the breakfast was fantastic, a wide variety of items to eat and drink and all of excellent quality. Absolutely worth the money. The room was also great, spacious and clean. The staff gave excellent suggestions for visiting the centre of the city with public transport, which allowed us to leave the car at the hotel.
