Town/Location in Town: Very small hamlet with nothing in it. The hotel is right on the road, but the road is very quiet a night. Area: There's a great restaurant in easy walking distance down the road. Hotel: The hotel was beautiful with many different seating areas to be able to relax in the evening. Also a covered pool with outdoor and indoor chairs. Hosts/Staff: One very friendly and one helpful but not as friendly. Noise at night: very quiet location. Room was quiet, but could hear noise from the corridor. But best lodging yet for this. Common Spaces: lots of separate little seating areas to allow relaxation. Also a pool table. Room: Bed was very comfortable, and there was a separate seating area. The bathroom was clean and functional, though the door to the toilet jams. There was not much separate storage space. Breakfast: Breakfast was not included, and we left before knowing if it was served or not. Bike Storage: a covered room that was secure. Extras: A pear tree on site with delicious pears!

Very friendly hosts, exceptional value for money. The building is old and full of character, but the facilities are very modern and high quality. The hotel is situated in a very peaceful and beautiful area. The dinner is both cheap and very tasty. Highly recommend. Also motorbike friendly.

It was very quiet and peaceful. Very small village with narrow road for a 2 ways traffic. I was on a working trip so for me it was perfect to enjoy the view of the nature after a long working day.

Our host was exceptionally welcoming and friendly. Despite this being a last minute booking he laid on a delicious evening meal for us made with fresh produce from his farm. Our room was cosy and full of character. We were welcomed with a delicious breakfast the next morning. This is a very special place steeped in history and well worth a visit. We will definitely be back if we are passing again as it is a place that we will never forget. Thank you

Mario and Susana were the best hosts, very professional but l also warm and inviting. They were able to recommend many things to do in the area and were extremely helpful. The breakfast every morning was excellent with a variety of options. The facilities were some of the best we’ve ever stayed at. The room was huge, updated, and very clean and there were some indoor and outdoor common areas that were charming and welcoming. The overall feel was very warm and inviting. We will definitely return as this was the perfect place to stay for our relaxing week away.
