Three House Hotel features an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre, a garden and terrace in Funchal. Three House - three words. They. Get. It. From the very warm welcome when we arrived, the lovely hotel tour we were taken on, to the beautifully furnished rooms. Everything felt just right. Like coming home. And not to forget mentioning the rooftop with 360° degree view of marvelous Madeira. Every single just detail seemed to be thoroughly considered when working out the concept of the hotel when it opened in 2019. Light scent of apple in the hallways, a fully equipped kitchen, a Harman Kardon bluetooth speaker and a TV that allowed you to stream your content via Apple AirPlay our Chromecast. What could mid-twenty travelers want more?! Not to forget the rooftop pool, DJ sets on the weekend and drinks that knock your socks off. Prior our arrival the Three House reached out via WhatsApp asking when we would arrive and whether transportation from the airport is needed. Like, did you ever communicate with a hotel through WhatsApp? Whenever we had a question or just wanted to know where the locals eat - we just sent a text and got the greatest recommendations that made our stay in Madeira even more memorable. Every hotel should just do that. It just feels so natural. If you visit Madeira and plan to stay in Funchal, this is the perfect place. It’s location in the city center with free parking let‘s you get to all attractions and Funchal’s old town in no time. Enjoy the traditional meat skewers and drink as much Poncha as you can (take it with ice though). If you fancy something more experimental, try the hotel restaurant with a sundowner drink on the rooftop after. The Three House just gets it how a hotel experience in the twenty first century should be. Thank you!

This restored Madeiran mansion is located 900 metres from Funchal's Old Town and has scenic views of the sea, the city and the mountains from its own botanical gardens and terraces. The terrace with a panoramic view of the city. Free parking!!! The excellent breakfast The staff Jesica always with a smile, Monica , always trying to help, Nono who was helpful with suggestions. All were speaking excellent English.

Attractively situated in Funchal, Living Funchal iNN is a recently renovated apartment, which features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. The location was excellent. The apartment is huge and very comfortable. Plenty of space to spread out. The bed was very comfortable. Washer in the apartment and all the kitchenware you need to feel at home.

1.9 km from Almirante Reis Beach, Atlântico Azul is a recently renovated property set in Funchal and offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. Very cleN, well equipped, spectacular views, great location. 10 minutes to Funchal.

Casal da Penha Apartments offers accommodation within 600 metres of the centre of Funchal, with free WiFi, and a kitchenette with a microwave, a toaster and a fridge. The apartment had everything that I needed for my stay, clean and well appointed. The restaurant downstairs, owned by the same people served excellent food and offered a discount for those renting the apartment. The host Maikel was excellent, attentive and generous, allowing me to stay for a final night free of charge when it became apparent that I had made a mistake with my departure date. If I return to Madeira, I will definitely consider these apartments again. 10 out of 10

Situated within 200 metres of Sao Roque Beach and 300 metres of Banda d'Alem Beach, Fort Bay Suite Apartments features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Machico. Beautifully renovated apartment right in the center of Machico. While Machiko is not a touristy destination it's a perfect place to stay if you want to access several hikes in the area and we loved getting the local flavor of the town which is much less touristy than Funchal. The apartment was perfect in the best location one block from the water with lots of restaurants within a block, including a delicious coffee shop across the street. Completely new and clean. Everything was thought of down to the last detail, including a care package of local goodies. The host was easy to get in touch with and very responsive. I initially was concerned about comments regarding construction, but while there was some construction the noise did not bother us at all.

Boasting a rooftop pool and views of mountain, Blue House is a recently renovated apartment situated in Ponta do Sol, 70 metres from Lugar de Baixo Beach. Great location, close to the Ponta do Sol. You can hear and see the ocean right from your balcony. Beach is about 100m away, you only need to cross quite a busy street. There is also a nice, glazed private pool on the outside terrace as well as some sunbeds and parasols. Parking is free, on the street. We did not have any problems with street parking there.

Located in Porto Moniz and only 4.6 km from Porto Moniz Natural Swimming Pools, CASA CAROTO provides accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. I was provided with everything I needed and more. Plenty of space, really cozy, has washer and dryer. This is a really nice, clean, and cozy place.

Situated in Funchal, 1.3 km from Almirante Reis Beach and 300 metres from the centre, Social Lodge - Happiness features air-conditioned accommodation with free WiFi, and a terrace. The apartment is in the perfect location right in the city center. There is a Mall nearby and a 24-hour parking directly opposite the house. The Host was very nice and always provided helpful information about the island and important places. The apartment is very easy to reach by bus from the airport. The apartment has everything you need in everyday life. There is also a terrace with city views
