FAFEL LITTLE HOUSE - Quinta de Cravaz, a property with a bar, is set in Lamego, 1.4 km from Our Lady of Remedies Sanctuary, 16 km from Douro Museum, as well as 36 km from Natur Waterpark. This little house is just that, everything is there, but small. The way it is organized, however makes it very comfortable for a base of visiting the town. You can make your breakfast in the morning and take off to see the local sights and everything is close. You can actually see the top of the Sanctuary (with all the steps) from the windows. It is quiet and the bed is comfy. Our bus didn't leave till mid afternoon and the hosts let us stay an extra couple hours-thanks.

Located within 16 km of Our Lady of Remedies Sanctuary and 19 km of Douro Museum, Quinta de São Pedro provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Barrô. The apartment was as advertised and exceeded our expectations! The staff are exceptional. Super friendly, helpful, and attentive. The apartment was beautiful, spacious, and exceptionally decorated. Every unit has their own seating area to relax outside. Plus there are trails around the property to other seating areas. Kitchen had everything to make a variety of meals using either the cook top or oven. Bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows and blankets. Quiet at night! Pellet stove in unit to enjoy a fire. Breakfast baskets delivered every morning! And the Views of the surrounding mountains and Douro River were amazing! We wanted a relaxing and romantic stay and Quinta de São Pedro delivered! We highly recommend a car to get to the Quinta.

The host, Joaquin, was extremely kind, helpful and hospitable. The decoration of the place is great and it is equipped with whatever you need. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is heating for the colder days.
