The pool was GREAT!! Plenty of towels there for guests. The breakfast was really good. A lot of choices. The breakfast staff was very friendly and constantly kept refilling the food.
The area is clean, neat and comfortable. There was lots of room to accommodate everyone. There was a rose for all the Mothers who wanted one at the front desk. It was Mother's day that Sunday when we checked out.

We stayed in one of the sandcastles villas. The location was amazing. We were close to everything. The beach, the pools, the restaurants and shops… it was all within walking distance. We really enjoyed all that was offered!

The bed was comfortable. The breakfast room was crowded and the food was not that good not enough variety.
Thanks !!!
See ya next time.
In historic downtown, Cafe Karibo was OUTSTANDING and the BEST meal we had during our 4 day stay, hands-down.
Ciao restaurant in historic downtown was a bit of a disappointment...way too LOUD inside...food was "ehhh"...staff/service was "ehhh"...probably won't go back there...ehhh.
Met some really nice people at the bar at "Peppers" doing a couple shots before dinner, but the bartender was "ehhh"...not so much...

We loved the location and friendly staff.
We loved the location and friendly staff. The shower floor wasn't clean enough for me, I wore rubber sandals for protection. The blind on the view window was broken so I was unable to open fully to see the ocean. The furniture was good, a little used but understandable. It's a great room to relax. The roof top seating was a big plus! Loved it! Very clean!
Walking distance to Egan Creek, State park and ocean walk was perfect! Food was okay nearby but we liked the Salty Pelican more, plus the Western sunset is always a pleasure to see, only 2 miles from hotel.

Fernandina Beach is beautiful and the town is very interesting. It reminded me of a mini Savannah. There are great restaurants in all price ranges. The local history museum was perfect for a rainy day and the museum at American Beach was outstanding.

We loved it so much we ended up extending our trip a day! Really cute downtown with a lot of restaurants, coffee, shops, and etc. I don't think I've ever been somewhere with such friendly people! On top of that, the seafood was amazing as expected haha! We loved Nana Teresa's Bake Shop for baked treats, Hola Cuban Cafe for coffee, and the Patio for great dinners and live music!

Great small town with lots of great restaurants and shopping. We went for the beach even though it was a bit chilly. We took a boat tour of the island and went to the Ritz Carlton for trivia night. Lots to do!

The facility was right on the beach which was great.
The facility was right on the beach which was great. We had a “no frills” room with no microwave. It was upstairs with no elevator and the television was tiny with very few channels. The coffee pot was broken and the remote for the tv didn’t work most of the time. The room was clean however and in a great location.
Very comfortable stay. The suite was very well done. The breakfast was about average but convenient. Good location, beautiful weather.
Did not like paying extra for parking considering the cost of the room.
It appears our card may have been charged twice for the stay. Will follow up with credit card company to clarify.
Would recommend this Springhill to anyone visiting Amelia Island.
This motel is ideally located and we had a beautiful room on the ground floor, directly beachfront. Breakfast was not included (due to COVID) but our room had a little kitchenette with a stove, fridge, a couple of pans and utensils so we made our own, and the restaurant across the street was a great stop for dinner.
This is a 2-bedroom apartment in a beautiful condo. It's spacious, nicely appointed and has all the appliances you need. The Amelia Island beach is 6' away by foot.
The terrace is very pleasing.
There are restaurants within walking distance and many others 10' away by car.
The owner is very kind and helpful.
The room and access to the beach deserve high ratings. The free breakfast was average to slightly above average, but not among the best "continental" breakfasts I've enjoyed at hotels over the years. The attendant who was overseeing the breakfast area was extremely courteous.
Great location, right on the beach. We paid a little more for the oceanfront suite and although it is not luxurious it is very nice, quiet and clean. The staff is very friendly. The pool was very nice too. We'll be back again. This was already our second stay here.
My husband has mobility issues. Due to the size of the property it was very difficult for him to access dining and pool area. The hotel staff provided us with a wheelchair and assisted us by changing our room to one closer to to the lobby, pool and dining.
This hotel is brand new. It has a fab pool with a poolside bar and plenty of loungers. The room was really comfortable, large and well-appointed. The hotel was a couple of minutes from the beach and an easy walk to some great beach-side grills.
The location is absolutely fantastic. The hotel has it's own direct path down to the beach which is great. The pool is really nice, and there are facilities for washing off the sand as you come from the beach. Very friendly staff.
My trip to Amelia Island was a last minute trip that was so amazing!!! I loved my stay and will make this my go to hotel when I return. The food was amazing and the bartenders were so friendly and served guests well.
Typical free hotel breakfast. We were upgraded to a bigger room with a betting view due to our tv not working in our reserved room. Right next to the beach with two great restaurants with ocean views with in steps.
The location is great, with the beach literally right behind the hotel. Really clean and beautiful, and the little boardwalk makes for easy access! Rooms were cozy, clean, and had a great amount of space!
