Hallways very loud . Young cleaning guy had his music playing from his phone while singing very loud . Also one night at 3 am something crashed and broke in the hallway. It was very loud which sounded like a bunch of glass breaking . It woke from my sleep. Took them a while to clean it up and they were loud doing so .
Pool person pressure washing the pool was very loud as well . Hard to sleep .

The smoky mountains are nice but Gatlinburg is just a money pit. If you want to experience the smoky mountains I would recommend just staying in Pigeon Forge or Sevierville and driving to the mountains. Gatlinburg itself is like a mile long gift shop/ flea market of triple priced goods. 2 two litter mountain dews were over $13

Gatlinburg was a glitzy tourist trap, which we didn’t expect or appreciate. The artist community was a major plus, but the woman at the welcome store was insulting and arrogant, exactly the wrong person for the job.

Gatlinburg is a one strip town of wineries, shineries, and some adventure parks. BUT, it sits on the north end of an absolutely gorgeous national park that is free to enter and explore. Use the free trolley if you can, because all public parking on the strip is $20 one entry and travel on the strip is slow and easily frustrating. The mountain attractions like Ober, Anakeesta, and Skypark are the best parts and definite to-do's. Restaurants are mostly chains and it was difficult to find "local flavor". All the emphasis on booze means you will run into drunken tourists while walking the strip. Stay a week, do some outdoors stuff, explore the Smokies.

I should have done more research on what to do outside of Gatlinburg. The main town was a tourist trap with the chain restaurants and souvenir shops, old time photo shops and taffy candy stores. Parking was between $10-$20 at each lot, and it was crowded for end of April. Aside from the skywalk, I wasn’t too impressed. However driving along rt441 through the Smokies was the biggest highlight of the trip. It’s a stunning location, just find something to do outside the hub.
The location of the hotel in Gatlinburg was excellent. Within walking distance to downtown attractions/restaurants. Even though the hotel was in an excellent location, when you are on the property of the hotel it was very quiet and relaxing! Enough parking and in great locations based on your room location. Felt secure and safe. Indoor pool was excellent since 2 of our days were rainy. The hotel is right on the river with balconies hanging right over the river. The sound was so relaxing and the view was incredible!
Our stay at Greystone Lodge On the River was truly delightful. The hotel's cleanliness and comfort stood out, matched by the warmth and professionalism of the staff. The breakfast offered was a treat, providing a delicious start to our day in Gatlinburg. Located conveniently, it allowed us to explore the city with ease. Greystone Lodge has set a high standard for hospitality. We can't wait for our next visit. Thanks to the entire team for making our stay memorable!
The pool at this hotel is phenomenal for kids. My son spent a total of about 14 hours just playing in pool during our 4 day stay. The location I thought was great. Right outside downtown Gatlinburg. Seriously a 9 minute walk and your in the action but far enough away parking is easy and the hotel is very quiet. Also, the room size. The photos do not do it justice. The room and bathroom were huge. I was not expecting it to be so big.
Room size and hotel location are the two biggest reason I chose this hotel. The size is the largest among hotels I searched in that area. We have family of three plus a big dog. A large room is preferred. The hotel is at a best location to us. It is at the edge of the downtown Gatlinburg. It's convenient to walk to downtown. However it's quiet and does not have the heavy crowd around the building.
Amazing location - a short walk to downtown but out of the bustle of the town centre. Free convenient parking and only a short drive into the national park which was the reason for our visit. The apartment was clean and comfortable, brand new and modern decor, really made us feel at home! Thanks Laurie for a fantastic stay in Gatlinburg.
I loved that the property was quiet and peaceful. The hotel is a short walk up the hill from downtown Gatlinburg. It is close, but far enough away to feel relaxing and spacious. The stream outside our balcony was just beautiful. Everything in the room was spotless. The room even SMELLED clean. We would definitely stay here again.
Loved how you keep fire pits on at all times and keep pools open and food until 11!!!!
A lot of hotels close a littler earlier and I really enjoyed it and would stay again. Staff doesn’t really bother you and lets you have a good time! Major plus
The location was perfect. We also loved the balcony over looking the creek. Easy to walk to anywhere in gatlinburg with young kids. In downtown but in a quiet area. Decent parking lot. & my boys loved that the ober came right past the hotel.
Small room, outdated, but clean. Bed was comfortable.
It was located on a river, so it was very peaceful and quiet. It was a few minutes from the fray of downtown Gatlinburg which was nice.
The hotel room was spacious and comfortable. The staff was very friendly. The hotel was very clean. It was a wonderful stay. It was a good price for being downtown gatlinburg.
The inside of this hotel is fine. The room was comfortable and the staff was so friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for visiting downtown Gatlinburg.
Really nice staff, clean and spacious rooms with everything you need. Downtown can be reached by foot (5-10 minute walk) to avoid parking in Gatlinburg
