The property is very unique. VERY comfortable bed and duvet. Food was fantastic (Kafta Tangine), as was the simple standard Berber breakfast. Both meals were taken in the garden with a few other guests.
As a solo traveler on a moto they sent out a very kind staff person out to find me in front of the property and guide me in. Impressive!!
The pool and calm energy had me asking for a late check out so I could enjoy the pool.

This property is lovely! It's clean, very well maintained, and super relaxing. We loved how green, quiet, and well done it is. The hospitality is great, dinner was delicious, and the hosts are very responsive. It can be slightly difficult to find due to the windy roads. However, the hosts share a link with instructions to the location which was very helpful. All in all, it was a great experience and we definitely want to come back (and bring our parents there too!).
This Eco-friendly riad is located in the oasis of Skoura, on a 4-hectare farm. Set between the desert and the Atlas Mountains, it offers air-conditioned rooms, a sea water outdoor pool and a hammam.

1- The food: we had the best dinner of our Morocco trip in the Sawadi Lodge. Everything was delicious, including the meal itself, desert, tea, coffee and drinks. The service was top notch- we even took a pic of our waiter Mansour. He is something else.
2- The service: not only during dinner- the host and the staff were on a mission to make sure that every minute was a joy.
3- Rooms: comfortable, pretty, authentic. The hotel grounds have character. There is an appealing swimming pool that we didn't use because of the season.
Offering river views, Eco-Ferme Tamalait Skoura in Skoura provides accommodations and a garden. With mountain views, this accommodation offers a patio.

We stayed for 3 nights and had a wonderful time! Mohamed was so welcoming and friendly and instantly charmed our 3 year old son. The food was incredible; we had breakfast, dinner, and a packed lunch every day. It is a great location for exploring the area, and also the kasbah is a great place to relax and chill out. The rooms are basic and perhaps a bit rustic, but it was perfectly adequate and as expected when traveling in rural Morocco.
Located a 10-minute drive from Skoura village, Auberge Migusta offers a traditional living room and a rooftop terrace. Free private parking is possible on site.
Very accommodating host. The only issue was the mattress, which was changed as soon as it was brought to the host's notice.
Meals were prepared by the lady of the house. Breakfast was included, evening meal was optional. Wifi was excellent. The hosts own palm and pomegranate orchards locally, and offered tours within his family's ownership and around the vast & historic Skoura oasis, with its many and varied casbahs.
There is a range of places to eat in Skoura, an interesting street market and good banking.

This was a bird-watching holiday and we chose Skoura because it was accessible to known birding sites to the west and the east. However, we discovered that Skoura, and Sidi Flah a few miles to the south, are brilliant birding and walking locations in their own right.

Scenic and interesting, with nice side trips to a gorge and a casbah. But in a first trip to Morocco where we wanted to see Fez, Marrakech & the desert, there wasn't much time to squeeze in more at Skoura.

The property is beautiful and we were welcomed so warmly by Mohammad. He showed us the property and the gardens, which is beautiful w. many fruit trees. But above all, the dinner.... was A-MA-ZING! Mme. Najate is a 5-star chef. Everything was seasoned to perfection - it wasn't just our best meal in Morocco, but one of the best meals we've ever eaten anywhere. Breakfast was also fabulous and plentiful - with an egg omelette in addition to the typical breads, jams, olives and dates.
Ahmed, wife Fatima, children Younessef and Sara and his mother were so welcoming. Ahmed met as in town and led us to his historic home in the middle of the oasis. Fatima cooked a great supper for us with less than one hour's notice and also provided a big breakfast with home made crepe and bread. The guest house was huge, the bedroom warm with lots of hot water and the bed linen was
very comfortable. This is a VERY special place that Ahmed has opened close to the Dar Ahlam hotel.
Traditional structure right on the edge of Skoura Palmeraie, with beautiful view over the surrounding area.
Room was essential but had everything you need, hosts were sweet and kind, breakfast and dinner were very good and abundant.
The whole place has a really family-like touch and is very quiet and peaceful.
Recommended if you want to catch a break from the typical touristic attractions and the noise of the more crowded places and experience something more real and traditional.
This is an old family property with a lot character - which has been/is being extended - and comfortable bedrooms. Though it is on the edge of the oasis and Skoura itself, the pomegranate gardens in the back are beautiful as is the pool area. We really appreciated the tea and snacks which greeted us on our arrival. The dinners were simple but tasty and very plentiful. Thank you Karim for getting the goat's cheese which we had seen advertised in the town - a very nice gesture.
Apart from staying in a mansion that in and of itself is otherworldly, the family running this place is fantastic. They are so welcoming, friendly, proactive and know all about Skoura. The beds were amazing, we had a balcony as well, altogether we found this the best option to stay in all of Skoura. Thank you so much for hosting us!
Spacious, clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated place! Service was exceptional. We arrived during a sandstorm, so weren’t able to take advantage of a number of fun things to do in Skoura, but the staff was very welcoming and accommodating . It was a great place to take a break from a road trip.
Nice Kasbah in the outskirts of Skoura. Beautiful palmeto to visit with the local guide and see the traditional families working in a real environment. The Kashbah is very rural but comfortable. Owners super friendly and welcoming as usual in this beautiful country
This hotel is a hidden gem inside a palmerie.
It was my second time here and definitely will came back.
Incredible breakfasts and dinners.
The gardens are beautiful the staff super friendly and you can truly relax around here! Thank you so much for everything!
This hotel is so well done up, it’s really stylish and comfortable. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming and cooked us a delicious dinner and breakfast. The robes and slippers in the room were a lovely extra touch. The nearby palmeraie is beautiful too
Les Jardins de Skoura is a real gem. The hostess Caroline and her staff make you feel right at home. There are so many wonderful nooks to relax in. Sunsets on the rooftop terrace are phenomenal. Stay at least 2 nights.
Amazing experience, Abdul (the host) is a wonderful man and host, he is the kindest person that we have met in Morocco. Would definitely stay there again. Expect really authentic experience.
beautiful and peaceful. Perfect for a relaxing stay. The food was the best we had in Morocco! Very welcoming too. Highly recommended. We wish we had stayed longer 😃
Very friendly staff, very clean hotel, good food, tranquil. We asked them to serve the breakfast earlier than the hour and they didn't hesitate in doing so.j
