The location is gorgeous, it’s a bit remote, but if you love scenery, walks and greenery it’s amazing. The host Susan was lovely and very welcoming. Along with how the instructions were detailed for checking in and how to use facilities were very detailed, a folder is provided along with some takeout menus,
Overall, we enjoyed our stay thoroughly!

We visited for a family wedding at Bassmead Manor so didn’t eat out in St Neots. There were several shops, some small and independent which is good. We did notice great cafes for breakfast/lunch and a good footpath by the river for riverside walks. Lovely place to stay, lovely old places to go too, small museum in St.Neats, the riverside/park has a restrant come tea/rooms, friendly staff, and a nice walk. clothes shops/.Eaton-Socon the next village has a working Lock nice walks, and a nice friendly Pub by the water, family and pet friendly place to visit.

Room was decorated light and modern and was spacious and clean and had the facilities you'd expect. (kettle, shampoo, shower gel) Loved the fact that they are focused on recycling. Dinner menu was varied and the food was well presented and delicious! Breakfast was buffet style with a selection of hot and cold food. The host was very nice and checked up to make sure I had everything I needed. I arrived very late in the evening and was surprised to have coffee and tea as well as food at the apartment, it was certainly appreciated. Overall, a great stay and I hope I get to go back soon. Very considerate hosts.

The facilities are all you need with large comfy beds. What makes this place special though is the staff. They all smile and have a great demeanour when you need to ask for something or query something. This starts when you arrive with the receptionists and continues through your stay with the bar staff and kind people at Breakfast
