Situated in the heart of Loughborough, the Caravelli boasts a prime location that initially raised concerns about potential noise disturbances. However, to my pleasant surprise, the hotel proved to be an oasis of tranquillity, offering a serene and peaceful ambiance. Nestled amidst the bustling town centre, this hidden gem manages to create an atmosphere of calm and serenity, ensuring a truly luxurious stay.
As I stepped into the bedroom, I was immediately struck by the impeccable attention to detail and the exquisite design. The bed, adorned with plush linens and adorned with an array of plump pillows, provided the epitome of comfort. It was a haven of relaxation, inviting me to sink into its soft embrace after a long day of work. The Caravelli's commitment to providing a restful night's sleep was truly evident in every aspect of the room's layout and furnishings.
In addition to its exceptional accommodations, the Caravelli also boasts an Italian restaurant that is nothing short of extraordinary. The menu options were a culinary delight, offering a tantalizing array of authentic Italian dishes crafted with the finest ingredients. From the first bite to the last, each dish was a symphony of flavours, expertly prepared and presented with finesse. The combination of the menu's diversity, the reasonable prices, and the impeccable quality of the food made dining at the Caravelli an unforgettable experience.
In conclusion, the Caravelli surpassed all expectations, leaving an indelible impression of luxury and excellence. From its tranquil location to its sumptuous accommodations and delectable dining options, every aspect of this hotel exudes sophistication and refinement. Without a doubt, I eagerly anticipate my return to the Caravelli, where I can once again indulge in the opulence and splendour it offers.

I've never stayed in a B and B before but had to book this one due to my last minute plans for my son's football tournament. Best hotel/B&B I've ever stayed in 10 years considering I normally stay in 4 or 5tar. There is something about this place that's magical and can't put in words

The apartment was awful, dirty, the shower didn’t work, brown across the ceiling, food up the walls and the toilet must have been leaking as urine and water was coming through the toilet when you stood on the floor boards.

Typical student town, with many young people in evidence.
Typical student town, with many young people in evidence. Safe, friendly feel to the town, even in the evening at the weekend. Lots of variety in the restaurants and cafés, good shopping with some very good independent shops, as well as the usual chains.

My son goes to Loughborough college and loves it.
To be honest I wouldn't go to Loughborough on holiday but its a nice town. If you like a drink check out Moonface brewery. The market in the town is on twice a week and is nice.
Very comfortable room with three single beds in a lovely house. This room was booked for our two daughters and friend. The youngest was graduating from Loughborough university and unfortunately, due to Covid circumstances, we couldn't travel to attend the ceremony. However, we arranged for flowers to be delivered to the room and Derek, very kindly, helped us in making her day very special. He was extremely responsive and ever so helpful. And the girls absolutely loved the breakfast!!! Perfect location too.
The hotel is in a good location, about 5mins off M1, stayed here for a visit to Donington park. The room was a good size, had a bath and a shower. The ground floor reception area was bright and open with seating arranged around it. The bar was in this area so easily accessible. The breakfast was also served in this area, plenty of choices from cold to hot traditional but all self service. All in all a great find and not expensive either.
Getting to the apartment from the train station was an easy walk. The area and location were nice - great places to eat and enjoyable to walk. The apartment was comfortable and spacious. Tom was amazing to work with. My trip could have been a disaster because of my mistakes, but Tom saved the day!! I would highly recommend this apartment - and the next time I go back to Loughborough, I will definitely try to stay here again!
Characterful building, with parking on site (albeit tight), attached to Italian restaurant where we had a good evening meal. Close to the town centre and with a good view of the church. Breakfast was excellent, delicious fresh fruit, well-cooked full English and veggie breakfast. Catered well for my dairy intolerance.
The staff were exceptional. I’d had a busy day at work and booked last minute. Room facilities were basic but cheap. The meal was amazing as were the team. The lady who cooked the amazing meal, came to check if it was ok. Too much food, they put in the fridge for me to take home. So lovely
Peacock Inn was fine for our one night stay in Loughborough. Our room was clean and nicely decorated with a large TV, The accommodation forms part of the pub which was lively and staff friendly. Close to the town centre and Great Central Railway which was the purpose of our visit,
The hotel is in great location being in centre Loughborough
The refurbished rooms are excellent value for money and my first choice over travelodge and premier and usually cheaper if booked in advance
Staff are warm friendly and helpful so would highly recommend
Even though hotel going through refurb the staff were great ,room excellent new bar and restaurant very good.Small menu but a choice really for everyone. Convenient for the university and only a couple of miles from town too.Didnt use pool but was open until 8pm.
Breakfast... Excellent local sausages. Freshly Squeezed proper Orange Juice.
Hotel in general, just what I needed, a nice little retreat that's not in a town centre.
Friendly and knowledgable staff that have the smart but casual way of Customer service.
The location was perfect for our driving day and it was easy to find, good parking and a 15 minute walk into the town centre. The hotel was nice, the staff were lovely and we sat and had cocktails in the steam garden with the locals which was really good.
Perfect location for my son's interview at the university. Quiet location, although the restaurant was not open the incredibly helpful and patient manager guided us to a restaurant where we had an excellent dinner.
The hotel reception was good as was the room. Clean, tidy and well presented. Corridors were kept cool due to open doors to facilitate covid restrictions. Bar was good and staff there very friendly and helpful.
Excellent location (walkable distance to train station, grocery shops, restaurants, town centre and next to a bus stop to the university), very good modern apartments and helpful staff. Very good Wi Fi.
All staff very friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed.
Easy walk into town.
We had the breakfast big and very good.
Lovely walk around lake nearby.
For ourselves an easy walk to the crematorium.
We were visiting my son who is at Loughborough University the location was perfect for this, place was clean, staff friendly we will definitely use this hotel again when visiting our son.
