The hotel is medium sized, so big enough to walk around and small enough to make it easy to move around.
2 pools and a decent gym by hotel standards
The staff are very attentive and available

Located right in town with reasonable priced car park nearby. Staff extremely welcoming and efficient. Breakfast - everything you want on a break away - hot plate, large choice, cheap, quick and delivered with a smile. Room was more than adequate, big comfy bed, air con, very clean. Late check out good.

Room was pleasant enough and staff fine, on arrival. Able to get some refreshments and food at bar which was nice butnot exceptional. Did keep a very good real ale at the bar. The weather dictated good air conditioning or fan was needed and here the fan was excellent for keeping cool. Tea and coffee facility fine and nice to have a 'coffee maker', which we never used. Other extras fine. Late key and entrance really useful.

Great for walking and cycling - peaceful location. Small market town with several supermarkets and local shops. Nice walk around Nature Reserve and lake. Best walks up into the fields beyond the railway line - especially in the winter snow.

We visit this hotel annually when we go to Longleat which is very close. We love the character. This year we had a family room which gave us masses of space. Free parking. Wetherspoons breakfast downstairs, 2 bottles water, chocolate as well as tea and coffee in room. Love the secondary double glazing which doubles as fridge for water and juice. Very quiet on top floor.

Easy to park near the high Street. Spent 2 hours walking around shops and local area. Followed a 'blue plaque' walk we downloaded. We thought this was a nice old town to potter around before visiting relatives nearby.

Lovely Hotel with very friendly, polite staff.
Lovely Hotel with very friendly, polite staff. Great location with lovely grounds. Very quiet and tranquil Hotel and not far from shops etc if you require them. I will definitely go back again for a nice relaxing break.
Good food and drinks - excellent selection of menu items. I ordered from the tapas menu for dinner and had lots of options to choose from. Breakfast was great - lots of different cooked or continental items to choose from. The room was large, comfortable and had everything I needed for a business trip - a desk, plenty of outlets for the laptop, phone, etc and plenty of room to spread out and relax after work. This would be a good stop for exploring the area when not at work, plenty of parking and close to local attractions.
The Angel Inn is a very nice place to explore the region, with a perfect situation in between Bath, Stonehenge, Salisbury and the nice Wiltshire landscape. The very old house does have a nice ancient charme. The stuff is nice and helpful, the breakfast was wonderful and the restaurant serves good meals at the end of a tiring vacation day. We very lucky: the chamber was huge. The location is calm.
Wow! What a little hidden gem! We was not expecting the cottage to be as amazing as it was! everything and I mean EVERYTHING has been thought about to cater for everyone. Everything was so fresh, clean & comfy - it really was like a home from home. Cannot recommend granary cottage enough and when we are coming back to the area, we will definitely be booking into granary cottage again.
The area was tranquil and relaxing. The lodge was perfect in every way like being home from home and well kitted out. I will certainly look to book again unless my son moves from Warminster. I will certainly be recommending this lodge. Mum and husband have mobility issues but both managed extremely well. Mum is still telling me how much she loved the lodge and time away.
Beautiful yurt in the countryside with an excellent location to center parcs, longleat safari park, Trowbridge and surrounding area. The hosts are welcoming and Friendly with the yurt being private, cosy and quiet. The weather was absolutely terrible during our stay but the yurt kept us cosy and dry. Thanks for a lovely stay, quirky, clean and well recommended.
Excellent location for us, meeting family from various locations to celebrate a significant birthday with visits to Long Leat and Stourhead.
We are all foodies so it was great to have a well equipped kitchen. And plenty of space for the 6 adults in our group. Pretty little hamlet and Warminster is a nice town with good walks around.
My Husband chose this Hotel as the Reviews were positive.

Stunning location with well manicured Grounds
Location was good (especially if visiting Longleat), staff were friendly and the room was clean and bright thanks to big west-facing windows. A hassle free check out the next day, we would stay again if in the area. There is a great on-site restaurant too - pizzas and pasta were excellent
The location was good for the purposes of my visit. The room was very comfortable with good wifi. The staff were always courteous and helpful. I liked the tea and cake in the comfortable sitting rooms. The hotel is surrounded by fields and woods - very pleasant.
The breakfast on both mornings was excellent ,couldn't fault it. It's a lovely building set in peaceful surroundings. There are some good pubs in the area offering good food.We would recommend staying here to anyone wanting to visit this part of Wiltshire.
Very central hotel with excellent facilities. The room was quiet, clean and very comfortable. We especially appreciated the lift to get our luggage up to the room, as well as the good selection of biscuits! The hotel staff were friendly and helpful.
Great dog friendly pub hotel. Evening meal choices were a good range, well presented with quick efficient and friendly staff. Breakfast had a wide range of dishes both hot and cold. Well served by the manager who was breakfast chef for the day.
A very friendly pub. My room was large and comfortable. The pub has a lovely garden, which leads to the river. Breakfast was excellent. The village is quiet and within easy drive to Warminster, Longleat and Stonehenge.
