Our second stay at The Od Bell and it really is the staff that make it an enjoyable stay. They are all friendly and helpful. We needed to check out early on Monday morning and they organised sandwiches and fruit for our journey as we needed to leave before breakfast.
We did have the cooked breakfast on the Sunday which was delicious.
Bed very comfortable.

Great for walking and cycling - peaceful location. Small market town with several supermarkets and local shops. Nice walk around Nature Reserve and lake. Best walks up into the fields beyond the railway line - especially in the winter snow.

We visit this hotel annually when we go to Longleat which is very close. We love the character. This year we had a family room which gave us masses of space. Free parking. Wetherspoons breakfast downstairs, 2 bottles water, chocolate as well as tea and coffee in room. Love the secondary double glazing which doubles as fridge for water and juice. Very quiet on top floor.

Easy to park near the high Street. Spent 2 hours walking around shops and local area. Followed a 'blue plaque' walk we downloaded. We thought this was a nice old town to potter around before visiting relatives nearby.

Lovely Hotel with very friendly, polite staff.
Lovely Hotel with very friendly, polite staff. Great location with lovely grounds. Very quiet and tranquil Hotel and not far from shops etc if you require them. I will definitely go back again for a nice relaxing break.
Good food and drinks - excellent selection of menu items. I ordered from the tapas menu for dinner and had lots of options to choose from. Breakfast was great - lots of different cooked or continental items to choose from. The room was large, comfortable and had everything I needed for a business trip - a desk, plenty of outlets for the laptop, phone, etc and plenty of room to spread out and relax after work. This would be a good stop for exploring the area when not at work, plenty of parking and close to local attractions.
The Angel Inn is a very nice place to explore the region, with a perfect situation in between Bath, Stonehenge, Salisbury and the nice Wiltshire landscape. The very old house does have a nice ancient charme. The stuff is nice and helpful, the breakfast was wonderful and the restaurant serves good meals at the end of a tiring vacation day. We very lucky: the chamber was huge. The location is calm.
Wow! What a little hidden gem! We was not expecting the cottage to be as amazing as it was! everything and I mean EVERYTHING has been thought about to cater for everyone. Everything was so fresh, clean & comfy - it really was like a home from home. Cannot recommend granary cottage enough and when we are coming back to the area, we will definitely be booking into granary cottage again.
Excellent location for us, meeting family from various locations to celebrate a significant birthday with visits to Long Leat and Stourhead.
We are all foodies so it was great to have a well equipped kitchen. And plenty of space for the 6 adults in our group. Pretty little hamlet and Warminster is a nice town with good walks around.
Quiet location, good parking. Really lovely little cottage, spotlessly clean, everything you could need in the kitchen. Good location for Warminster, Longleat and Bath. Lovely soft bedding. Huge bath, gorgeous shower.
Pretty garden and outside area. Very comfy beds with lots of pillows and cushions. Great TV. and excellent Wifi.
Food was great, family room was well thought out with curtain partitioning and a TV in each area! The room was large and well appointed. We were only using it as an overnight stop on our way to Longleat and found that it was only 5 mins from the park which was perfect. Staff were very friendly.
We stayed at the Bath arms for our visit to Longleat. Also it was nice to revisit Warminster because I lived there as a child. I haven't been back for 36 years so it was nice to have a look and see how it had changed. I showed my family where I went to school and lived!😊A memorable weekend .
Lovely countryside location and facilities, perfect for a peaceful weekend away. All amenities included and reasonably priced. Great location if wanting to visit Longleat. Lovely hosts who had some good suggestions of things to do and places to eat in the local area.
The breakfast on both mornings was excellent ,couldn't fault it. It's a lovely building set in peaceful surroundings. There are some good pubs in the area offering good food.We would recommend staying here to anyone wanting to visit this part of Wiltshire.
Very central hotel with excellent facilities. The room was quiet, clean and very comfortable. We especially appreciated the lift to get our luggage up to the room, as well as the good selection of biscuits! The hotel staff were friendly and helpful.
easy to find, good parking, characterful old hotel with clean bar and decent food ( nice Thai menu as well as traditional pub food ) Staff pleasant enough. room and hotel all clean and tidy. lovely courtyard area with tables.
Breakfast in bed was delightful. The hotel
and grounds are beautiful. Spa was really nice. We had dinner once in the restaurant which was excellent. Bathroom was spacious, although bedroom was a bit smaller than expected.
Super near longleat safari park
Modern and clean and full range of utensils etc, fridges, free pier, washing machine
Parking is easy (two reserved spots in the restaurant car park)
Dinner and breakfast were excellent, hotel was lovely and just what we expected, only issue which we didnt mind but the children did was no wifi in the bedrooms.
