Warm welcome. Modern design. Sea view. Away from the hustle and bustle of Rome but within easy reach on the train.
I stayed here 11 years ago and have been meaning to come back since then! Nino and Angela not only remembered me but were so accommodating and warm in welcoming me back. It’s a perfect spot if you want to combine sun and sand with a city break. It’s just an hour into Rome and only €3.60 on the train. Thanks to both of you.

Beautiful Seaside town, Extremeley friendly and helpful people. Even when language was a barrier they would find some one or we would use translate. Even bus drivers and train conductors were so helpful.

It´s a small town, within walking distance, and everything you need is around the corner.
We found the best hotel and also a bar/restaurant where we had drinks and dinner down on the beach directly on the sand.

Anzio is a quiet beach place with nice restaurants, a port , nice little shops and the historical ruins of Nero's palace at the sea. 50km from Rome it is the right place to stay if you would like to combine Rime visits and in between some beach breaks.

Anzio is a non-touristic, quiet port town.
Anzio is a non-touristic, quiet port town. Decent beaches, both free and paid.
A good starting point for hydrofoil travel to Ponza Island. From here there are hydrofoils that will take you there in an hour and a half. Other places only use regular cruise ships, but they offer a four-hour journey.
There are many good restaurants with local fresh fish and seafood as well as local wines.
A place worth staying for shorter and longer periods.

Pleasant surprise!
Pleasant surprise! We learnt that the beaches around Anzio are popular among people from the Rome region, so there are mostly local people. Long, very nice beach with clean water, shallow sea and fine sand.

if you want to stay near Rome and have the benefit of a cooler summer atmosphere and a beach holiday this it , far better than staying Ostia or Fiumicino. frequent trains air conditioned and an hours journey rome for targeted visiting.
The Ostello is very close to the Anzio station which is very practical; and despite this, the area is very quiet.
You can reach the center of town and the harbor in less than 10mn walk.
This is a very typical Italian house and it feels like proper holidays in Italy; I loved it!
The owner is very nice and kind, ready to help and give you tips to where to visit and go. The place is very clean and also quiet. Barely not heard anyone. There is also a little garden outside if you want to sit and relax. I would definitely recommend it !
Great location in besutiful Tuscan villa with sea view and nice, quiet green garden and nice pool area under pine trees.
Walking distance from train station and the picturesque cities Anzio and Nettuno and the beaches.
Our host Cornelia picked us up from the station and gave us a warm welcome and made us feel at home during our whole stay.
Very attentive and nice service staff serving breakfast on sun terrace or in the cosy living room.
Clean and lovely decorated rooms, comfortable beds.
All in all a very good experience
Great location. Lots of good restaurants within walking distance. Room was spacious and clean as a pin. No dirty carpet like other hotels I've stayed at, rather it was tile. In fact the bathroom was done in marble tile! The view of the beach and the Tyrrhenian sea from the balcony was stunning. The staff was great. They were there to clean the room first thing each morning after you left your room. Security was also very good. The outside door was always locked and you had a key to come and go.
Perfect site, perfect hosts, great days.
Appartement in a completely renewed house with a nice swimmingpool in front of plus a bar close by in a calm region of Anzio.
Every morning do the hosts serve a fresh made breakfast on demand either fruits etc. or salty with eggs and ham.
We‘ve really enjoyed our days, thanks again Sergio and Riccardo for all you kind support and all the best for the near future.
See you soon I’m Stampeggioni Appartementi.
We enjoyed staying at this wonderful apartment. It is spacious and bright. The train station is very close so it is easy to go to Rome which is quite close. I want to admit that there is no loud noise from the trains. The view is marvelous, the air is fresh. There are shops, supermarkets, cafes and restaurants not far from the house. The beach is also 10 minutes from the apartment. The Host is very nice and friendly and always ready to help.
A very central hotel in Anzio. I got a room on the fourth floor with a view of the sea and the beach with a small balcony. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Modern room with a good bed and a desk I could work from. There is not good sound insulation between the rooms, which became clear when I had neighbors with two small children who screamed a lot both at night and during the day. But all in all a nice stay, and at a reasonable price.
Great location for family... In our case with one child of 8 months.
We had all the facilities, hotel on the beach as we couldn't go far away with the baby.
Clean! Everyday cleaning was perfectly done.
Breakfast indeed only packed stuff, but in the end we want to try local food and not to live only with breakfast until dinner :).
Nice owners, we will come back for sure.
This apartment was so close to the beach. Close to the grocery store and restaurants. The apartment had upgraded windows so soundproofing was great. Having a kitchen to store our food was helpful. Leo and Magdalena were very friendly and helpful We needed a our fender fixed and Leo found us a shop that helped us in an amazing way.
Breakfast was very nice especially having it on terrace in Front of the sea and the location was very peacefully and close to the beach "la playa". An amazing place for relax and have an especial fresh fish food.the sunset was also really relaxing and the host always ready to help for any kind of things you need
Villa Claudia is located on the top floor of a large home with a stupendous garden. Elena is the host, and she is kind and helpful. The breakfast is plentiful. The access to the nearby town and beach is easy. I highly recommend Villa Claudia
The equipment of the apartment is excellent, there is absolutely nothing missing. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Location close to the centre. There are grocery and fruit shops nearby. The beach is also nearby.
A simple but well-equipped little house directly overlooking a sandy beach in a very calm location. Washing machine came handy after four sweaty days in Rome. The host was super nice and helpful.
Il Canto delle Serene is a small hotel/pension in Anzio. Everything is new and clean and personal. The owner takes special care to meet your needs. It is easy to park your car if you have one.
The location was excellent minutes away from the centre, shops, restaurants and beaches. The breakfast was at a bar a few minutes away from the hotel serving a coffee and a pastry.
Easy walk to the beach. The kitchen had everything but a dishwasher. There was an air conditioner and an outdoor shower. The beach was a 5 minute walk.
